The Ring Klip has been specially designed for the easy attachment of hook links. The unique design allows greater movement thanks to the ring section of the clip. It can be easily attached to a swivel and used with a lead clip or fished between the beads on a helicopter-style setup.
Silicone Sleeves, In 2003 we released the increasingly popular Run Rig kits, after this we received a massive demand for the silicone sleeves to be sold separately. We found that by using a small piece to cover the swivel on the lead it kept everything neat and tidy but more importantly offered much better camouflage. They are also the perfect size to fit over our Kwik-links and Stik-Klip. We started off manufacturing them in weedy green but have now extended the range by adding a silty brown version. No other company produces such a wide range of colours because no other company has seen how much difference it can make. We shall continue to strive for better ways of fooling the most wary of carp. To fit, thread piece of line through eye of swivel or Kwik-link and then through sleeve, wet metal item with saliva and pull on sleeve. Sleeves may need to be cut down for some applications.
COG Leads, There are two COG lead patterns currently available, the Flat Distance and Flat Pear. The Flat Pear is more conventional and its condensed shape makes for the best hooking potential it's unsurpassed for margin or boat work. The Flat Distance lead was designed by Danny Fairbrass for the COG system. It takes its shape from the popular Distance Casting lead, but has a slightly flattened profile, giving better hooking capabilities and ensuring that the COG system is properly presented. • Please Note: Due to varying stock throughout our stockists, lead colours may vary. If you have any specific requests please contact the retailer with the details provided after your purchase is complete.
Flying Backleads, Korda Flying Backleads take line concelament to a new level! These little weights can be attached and detached from the line without needing to cut your rig off. They feature a recessed plastic insert that ensures that they fly back up your main line on the cast, helping to pin it to the bottom way back from your rig. We produce three different sizes and the lightest will fly much further up the line than the heaviest ones, allowing you to control your line lay.
Krimps, This clever system will allow us all to reach brand-new heights of neatness in rig creation. The Krimps and Krimp tool have been designed to allow easy rig construction with stiff materials (at the moment we only recommend Hybrid Stiff, Mouth Trap and Boom). In particular, we're really excited about the potential to create extremely neat loops for chod rigs and Boom sections. Not only this, but using Krimps will allow you to create chod rigs that are exactly the same length each and every time. There are two sizes of Krimp available, which have been designed to suit different materials. The smaller one will suit stiff bristle materials like Mouth Trap and stiff coated braids, like our Hybrid Stiff, and the larger one is perfect for really thick materials (like 30lb plus mono or the 35lb Boom). The product development team went to extreme lengths to make sure that the Krimps and Krimp tools were exactly right, having to overcome various problems along the way. The complexity of getting the tool and Krimps just right has meant that this has been a long development, but we're sure that it's been well worth the wait.
