The Maggot Klip makes baiting your rig with maggots easier than ever. Simply open the clip, thread your maggots onto it and close it up again! The Klips are available in a range of different sizes to suit your needs. You can therefore thread on as many maggots as you wish. The clasp fastens tightly onto the front of the Klip making it safe and easy to utilise. They are fantastic for outwitting pressured carp throughout the summer and winter period. We've also been experimenting with seeds of hemp on the Klips and it works extremely well when bites are hard to come by or when you're fishing over a spodded concoction of particles. They come available in X Small, Small, Medium And Large.
The Big Fish Off Guide To Fishing, The Big Fish Off Guide to Fishing is perfect for anyone looking to get into fishing as it gives an in-depth look at some of the tackle and techniques that were used during the show, as well as being a great read for more experienced anglers as it covers a wide variety of species and some more advanced techniques, as well as some of the behind-the-scenes stuff that the teams got up to during the making of the latest series of five programmes. With 248 pages in total it is packed full of information such as checklists of exactly what you need for that type of fishing, as well as some great diagrams that show exactly how to set up some of the rigs used during The Big Fish Off, and everyone is bound to learn something from it!It starts off looking at the basics of how to get started – as seen when Ali and Dean are joined by the likes of Sally Gunnell and Anna ‘AK’ Kelle who have never picked up a rod before – and then moves on to a wide range of topics, including who to tempt specimen fish, as well as taking a look at one of the top fishing holiday destinations at the moment, Thailand, and specifically Gillhams Resort where the climax of the latest series takes place.
Ready Tied BOOMS (QC), The Spinner rig is one of the most popular and effective carp-catching presentations around at the moment, but tying them from scratch can be time consuming, not to mention daunting if you have never attempted it before. Booms QC are tied on 7.5 inches or 5.5 inches of 25lb Boom fluorocarbons, with a loop at one end, and a QC swivel at the other, and they make it incredibly easy to set a Spinner rig up. Simply tease open the QC swivel with a Krimp tool, just enough to thread on your hook, and then pinch it shut. Slide on a Kicker to secure the hook in place, and then simply add a Micro Rig Swivel and Hook Bead to complete the rig. A piece of Dark Matter putty can be moulded around the loop knot if required to balance your hookbait.
Embryo Calender 2018, Dear fellow anglers There are several reasons why you may decide to purchase this calendar; it may well be for the wonderful photographs from the world of carp fishing that will inspire you to get out there and fish. Or perhaps the monthly insights from ‘part man, part carp’ Simon Scott, or the detailed information on moon phases, including the ‘hot’ days when you really need to be out on the bank in 2018. That said, the most important reason to buy this calendar is that £7 from every purchase will be spent directly on otter fencing, and you will be helping to protect the future of clubs and syndicates that simply cannot afford to do it themselves. As Embryo takes no profit from the provision of this service, the sale of just 1000 calendars could provide the funds to fence a 10 acre lake. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the production of this calendar, all of whom have done so completely free of charge. Even the printers have made a loss to produce it for us, and the tackle shop you are standing in right now has taken zero income from it. Together we can make a real difference to the sport we all love... Thank you for your contribution. Danny Fairbrass Founder of Embryo Angling Habitats
