Our ready-tied chod rigs really are perfection in a packet! Not only are they super-convenient, they're also flawlessly tied. In fact, we're not sure that any of our experienced chod-rig anglers, Danny Fairbrass included, could tie a neater version! Each rig has been tied to exacting standards, using the same knots and techniques that Danny uses for his own rigs. That means that each ready-tied rig has been constructed using Dan's special whipping knot, which gives unrivaled neatness and allows the knot to sit perfectly on the shank. What's more, rather than simply releasing one version, we've taken into consideration the fact that some anglers prefer short choddies, whereas others like a longer version, and released both types. So, if you like your choddies short like Darrell Peck's naked chod rig or, you prefer them longer, like Adam Penning's traditional leadcore rig, then you'll find a rig to suit. The rigs are tied with Mouth Trap, which instantly places them above all the other ready-tied chods on the market, simply because it's the most workable stiff-rig material ever! If your ready-tied chod gets knocked out of shape during a battle, you can simply work it back into shape. The Mouth Trap is tied to the ever-reliable Choddy hook, which practically guarantees a secure hook hold. The rigs are available in both bardbed and barbless versions, which come supplied in packs of three.
Inline Method Feeder, Traditionally, there was no particular science to hook bait placement within the method ball and your bait could even become trapped inside or under the feeder frame. Guru has, quite literally, turned this upside down. Commercial master Steve Ringer engineered a groundbreaking hook bait platform, which sits on the opposite side of the feeder to the main weight loading, ensuring that the hook bait sits on top of the feeder cast after cast. The platform itself is positioned on X-shaped, vented arms that are configured to minimize tangles and allow maximum grip, ensuring that your groundbait can be loaded easily onto the feeder. One cast with a Guru Method Feeder and you'll understand why it's shaped like it is. The team made long, stable casting a real priority and the weight-forward design really delivers this. These feeders cut across testing crosswinds, like a dart, allowing you to consistently hit the spot, effortlessly building your swim. The colour of the frame is anything but an afterthought. Steve drew upon what he knows of the underwater environment to choose a colour that melts inconspicuously into most lake bed types. The unique X-Safe elastic system acts as a buffer during the fight, helping to reduce hook pulls at the net. Not only that, but thanks to the innovative design, it's 100 per cent safe for the fish. Should you lose a fish and leave it attached to the feeder, the elastic will simply pull free, allowing the fish to ditch the feeder. The Method feeders are available in four sizes and all sizes of feeder are completely interchangeable and spare elastics and tubes are available separately.
Brush Logo Hoodie, Our stylish logo hoodies are made from 320gsm fleece jersey material to get that warm, cosy feel. Rather than simply printing Guru logos on an existing hoody, we decided to remodel the whole concept! The result is what we call, Action Fit. A fitted, raglan shoulder and stretchy underarm panels (picked out in Guru orange) keep the trimmed shape, while allowing you to move freely. The kangaroo pouch at the front houses gadget compartments for your phone and other essentials. The hoodies also have a crossover hood and thumb inserts on the cuffs to eliminate drafts and help keep you even warmer. Our clever drawcord loops keep the hoody cords out of the way when you're in the middle of frantic action and need to get the rod back out there asap! Black, with orange detailing, the hoodies can only be Guru!
Slow Sinking Dumbell, Our Fake Food range now includes slow-sinking dumbbell hook baits. As with the rest of the range, they differ from plastic hook baits made by other manufacturers as the attractor combinations have been moulded into the plastic during construction, rather than simply soaked in neat flavour, which washes away quickly. The flavour combinations are proven favourites of the team, with Danny Fairbrass contributing the Banoffee and Ali Hamidi the IB combination. You'll notice that there is no Citrus Zing in the dumbbell range. Instead, Danny has added a blend of fish flavours under the label of Fishy Fish. These dumbells have been coloured and flavoured to mimic washed-out pellets, making them the deadliest solid bag hook baits around!
