Twelve years ago Korda launched the first ever PVA Funnelweb system and this product has stood the test of time. Yet again we have taken PVA to another level with our Solidz range of PVA bags. Korda Solidz are designed to deliver a compact package of bait at any range and will be a huge hit with all you solid-bag users. Some of the country's most successful carp anglers such as Ian Poole and Jake Wildbore swear by them! Manufactured at Korda to a stringent specification, using the highest-grade film available, Solidz have a virtually neutral PH, melt rapidly and are extremely robust. They are absolutely ideal for distance casting, due to the soild, extra tough base. They leave zero residue when they melt, are completely aroma free and biodegradable. Our range of different sizes should suit every occasion and what's more, they are particularly easy to load thanks to the bag loader that comes complete with every pack. Simply load up, construct the bag and catch some carp!
Pear Swivel, The classic pear lead will cast a very very long way, almost as far as the Distance Casting and it is less affected by cross winds because the shape is very condensed. This means that the Pear lead is suited to most carp fishing situations when fishing anything up to the very limit of your casting ability. The dumpy shape can be used to your advantage in silt. Try using a very light pear lead say 1oz or 2oz and actually let the lead plug into the silt, this will dramatically increase the resistance to a carp moving away with the rig, so what feels like a light lead in your hand is transformed into a heavy lead in the fishing situation. Because the lead has a large rounded end it makes 'feeling' the lead hit the bottom easier than more slender or pointed shapes. If you are new to this technique this lead will make the job easier. The pear lead is also ideal in a solid PVA bag because it can be pushed down into one of the corners. This makes the bag nose heavy and so more accurate. • Please Note: Due to varying stock throughout our stockists, lead colours may vary. If you have any specific requests please contact the retailer with the details provided after your purchase is complete.
4" Method Rig, The Method Hair Rig has been purpose designed for use with the method feeder. Through their vast combined commercial-water experience, the Guru team believed that the perfect length for a method rig was four inches. This allows the bait to be presented among the free bait that has dropped off the feeder. They coupled the N-Gauge hook link with the Guru MWG hook, which is an awesomely strong, versatile pattern. The lads decided on figure-of-eight loops for ultimate knot strength and a piece of silicone on the hair to keep the bait and hook in the optimum hooking position.
Embryo Calender 2018, "I am extremely proud to present to you the Embryo Angling Habitats 2018 calendar. You, the angling community purchased 2700 of the 3000 calendars we printed for 2017. Because no one took a profit from the sale including the tackle shop you bought this one from it created £18,900 of revenue that will be spent on two fences for lakes that simply could not afford it from their own reserves. Dorchester Lake (Abingdon and Oxford Anglers Alliance) has sadly lost several of its most sought after specimens to Otter predation prior to our offer for fencing, an extended ‘planning’ issue delayed the fences installation but it is now set to be completed by spring 2018, so it's remaining jewels will be safe forever. Embryo are also donating five ‘special’ Priory Fisheries mid doubles to this venue to help rebuild its stock without changing its unique atmosphere. The second venue is Colchester Angling Preservation Society’s ‘Bovington’ Lakes. CAPS are a hugely worthy club who provide a huge range of open access fishing for a big membership. I have always been inspired by the amazing angling photography on Instagram so it felt fitting to invite budding photographers from all over the globe to submit their best shots for 2018. We had well over 5000 entries and choosing the final 12 was nigh on impossible because there were so many spell-binding images. Thanks to all who entered, the overwhelming response has cemented this calendar as an annual event, which is set to hopefully become a carp angling institution that keeps doing good year after year. Thank you for supporting Embryo by purchasing this calendar, I hope you enjoy the incredible images and use the moon phase calendar and top tips from our best anglers to put extra fish in your landing net. Every calendar will create one meter of fencing for a lake that cannot afford it themselves so your money is literally saving a fishes life….. Thank you. Danny Fairbrass”
