These four different landing net heads will cover any fishing situation that you’re likely to find yourself in, either on a commercial or when fishing matches on rivers and canals.
The Speed 400, Speed 500, Competition 500 and Dual 550 models will handle everything from netting silver fish on light tackle through to bundling big carp into them, and there is an appropriate size and type of mesh for pretty much anything.
The Competition 500 has the finest mesh at 2mm and is perfect for hair-rigged baits as they can’t get caught in the mesh, often destroying your rig in the process!
The two Speed nets have a 6mm mesh to make them incredibly maneuverable through the water. The Dual 550 offers the best of both, with a 6mm mesh body for ease of netting, but with a 2mm mesh base for practicality and fish comfort. This is the largest model so suitable for specimen angling and larger carp.
The alloy frames are incredibly strong, with a durable moulded spreader block and good quality screw thread complete with rubber washer so there is no twist when they’re attached to a net handle.
Pear Lead, The Pear Leads have a slightly sleeker profile than the Square Leads. They still retaining the ability to hold on marginal or island slopes yet they're much better suited to use on rivers. As with the Square Leads, they fit the Micro Lead Clip perfectly and are finished in with a coating that's been formulated to match the lakebed found in most commercial venues.
Embryo Calender 2018, Dear fellow anglers There are several reasons why you may decide to purchase this calendar; it may well be for the wonderful photographs from the world of carp fishing that will inspire you to get out there and fish. Or perhaps the monthly insights from ‘part man, part carp’ Simon Scott, or the detailed information on moon phases, including the ‘hot’ days when you really need to be out on the bank in 2018. That said, the most important reason to buy this calendar is that £7 from every purchase will be spent directly on otter fencing, and you will be helping to protect the future of clubs and syndicates that simply cannot afford to do it themselves. As Embryo takes no profit from the provision of this service, the sale of just 1000 calendars could provide the funds to fence a 10 acre lake. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the production of this calendar, all of whom have done so completely free of charge. Even the printers have made a loss to produce it for us, and the tackle shop you are standing in right now has taken zero income from it. Together we can make a real difference to the sport we all love... Thank you for your contribution. Danny Fairbrass Founder of Embryo Angling Habitats
Bait Strainer, This is a bait preparation, storage and drainage aid that fit neatly inside Guru Bait Boxes. These are perfect for use with any bait that involves soaking or covering with water, as you can quickly and easily remove the bait from water by lifting the strainer out of the tub when required. The strainer is slightly raised so when placed on the ground water will drain from the bait. Perfect for soaking pellets, preparing expanders, or holding any baits that need to be stored in water and require drainage at the end of a session. These are also ideal for draining the worm juice from chopped worms when adding them to groundbait, so not to alter the consistency of the mix. Available in one pint and 3.3pt versions.
