Everything you need for the ultimate, super-buoyant marker float setup. Hit long distances, fish in heavy weed you name it, this float setup does it. Each pack contains one of our awesome floats, a marker stem, buffer beads as well as 3oz and 4oz Probe Leads. The unique shape of these leads helps them transmit the makeup of the lake bed much better than standard versions.
Naked Chod System, The Naked Chod Safety System is, without doubt, the biggest advance in rotary-rig safety EVER. The specially designed Chod Sleeves, Barrel Beads and No-Trace beads combine to offer a solution to the problems that consistent hook link ejection has dogged helicopter rig users for years. The single most important aspect of a helicopter setup is the facility that allows the hook link to travel up and off the line should a carp pick up a cracked-off rig or become cut off during a fight. Previously, in order for the hook link to pass over the severed end of the line, allowing the carp to ditch the lead and trailing line, a relatively small-bored helicopter bead had to pass over first. This was problematic if any weed or debris had collected on the line or beads. The design of the Chod Sleeve and No-Trace Bead eliminates this problem. The hard plastic No-Trace Bead has a huge bore and, here's the clever bit, a slot in the side that allows it to drop off the line entirely once it has popped off the coned Chod Sleeve. This allows the size-11 Ring Swivel to proceed up and over the end of the line with ease. The Naked Chod Safety System Barrel Beads and Chod Sleeves are tungsten-impregnated to help make sure that the rig is presented where you want it, on the deck. Another industry first for Korda! We recommend that you use the system with strong, fast-sinking main line, such as SUBline or Kontour.
IQ Fluorocarbon, Have you ever used a hook link that knew not to tangle? One of which the fish could hardly see, and one that made it more difficult than any other to eject? Open this packet and maybe for the very first time you will be. IQ is a fluorocarbon which refracts light in almost the same way as water, making it almost invisible when immersed. It is stiffer than normal nylon so improving anti-tangle and anti-eject properties. Team Korda have extensively field tested all breaking strains and were so impressed they were compelled to add it to the already impressive range. 10lb is ideal for finely tuned open water situations. 15lb is a superb all rounder and 25lb forms an impressive stiff link.
Lead Clip, Our standard lead clip has been updated in recent years and still sets the benchmark for reliability. They are available in a range of colours, to suit almost any lake bed conditions. By moderating how hard the tail rubber is pushed over the serrated section of the clip, you can set the pressure at which the lead is dropped, allowing you to land more carp!
X-Safe Speed Stems, Developed by top match anglers Steve Ringer, Adam Rooney and Pemb Wrighting, a feeder or lead equipped with the X-Safe Speed Stems allows for ultra-quick re-casts - all you need to do is unclip the whole feeder or lead from the main line and attach a new ready-to-go rig. Using this system, the Guru team have won countless matches this year with the Speed Stems allowing anglers to have multiple feeders or leads set up and ready to recast within seconds of a fish or bringing a rig in, saving valuable minutes over the course of a match or pleasure session when speed is the key. Also incorporated into the stems is a Speed Bead, which allows hook lengths to be changed in seconds via a small quick-change swivel which pulls back into the bead to secure it to the rig. The stems fit Guru's existing method, pellet and Hybrid feeders and the inline lead range, easily slotting into the existing holes to make an instant quick change, elasticated feeder or lead set-up. Just tie a small loop onto the main line, secure it to the stem via the streamlined crook and small tail rubber, and it's ready to go. The X-Safe is the only safe elasticated system on the market, with the whole elasticated section easily pulling through the stem so any fish lost due to a main line breakage or picking up a cracked-off rig will be able to easily lose the feeder or lead. Top fisheries such as White Acres have recognised this safety aspect and now insist that anglers use the X-Safe system. The stems are available in two lengths for short and medium to long-range fishing and two elastic strengths black and white for targeting smaller or larger fish. For example, the black (heavy) elastic is great for larger carp and big bream whilst the lighter white version is perfect for F1s, bream, skimmers and smaller carp.
