Arma-Kord is an incredibly abrasion resistant braided line, which is also supple and relatively thin for its breaking strain. It has been designed as a high-performance snag or shock leader for extreme snag fishing or long-range work. In tests this braid proved at least 50% more abrasion resistant than the nearest competitor. Its thinner diameter and low-viz brown colour also make it far less detectable underwater.
Korda Scales, These scales are far from your average weighing tools. In fact, we reckon that they're the coolest scales on the market, by quite a margin! Rather than the standard black, high-impact case, the limited-edition Korda scales have a carpy green shell. We've also added a high-vis green tip to the pointer needle for 2011, which makes for accurate weighing in low-light conditions. The Korda scales are available in 60lb (with 2oz divisions) and 120lb (4oz divisions). All of our scales are rugged, reliable and designed to last.
Dark Matter Braid, This is a super-supple, super-heavy braided hook link with a clever banded-camou finish that blends in well over most lake beds. The tough fibre filaments are tightly woven, making for a supple-yet-tough hook link braid. It's been designed to sink extremely well, hugging the contours of the lake bed that you're fishing over for maximum subtlety. Dark Matter Braid lends itself to a host of rigs, including solid-bag presentations, the Slip-D rig, Darrell Peck's simple bottom bait rig and, of course, combi rigs. It's available in 15lb, 20lb and 30lb breaking strains.
Underwater 7, The mission was simple. Go to the busiest day-ticket complex in the UK and fish St Johns, one of the most popular lakes, which is steeped in history and full of pressured carp that have seen every trick in the book. What do these Carp respond to? What are their favourite baits? Which rigs do the business? What do they make of hi-viz baits? Will the St Johns monsters put in eagerly anticipated appearances? With seven years of carp-fishing development since the last Underwater film, can Team Korda come out on top, or will the carp win this underwater duel? The latest instalment in our underwater journey saw everything thrown at the team. Expecting tame spring temperatures, they instead received hurricanes and hailstones, with lashings of pain! At times it seemed like a lost cause. There were moments when it seemed like we were destined for failure... But, fate has a wonderful way of working its magic. Do you want to see some of the most enthralling underwater footage ever produced? Do you want to see angling history being made? This is Underwater 7; sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the start of a new era in our sub-surface, carp-fishing voyage...
Pellet Waggler, The Pellet Wagger hook has been designed with float hair rigging in mind. As the name suggests, it's particularly suited to use with the pellet waggler, which is so effective on commercial carp waters. The hooks feature an out-turned eye, which ensures that the line exits the eye in a straight line, making for better presentation and greater hooking potential. An extra-long, durable point and wide gape practically guarantees extremely secure hook holds, which will result in more fish in the net. There are six sizes in the range, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20, which will cover you for most commercial carp fishing as well as waggler fishing on a range of venues.
