The classic original Korda Method feeder has now been updated with some modern twists in the form of the Bait Up Feeder range. It retains many of the features that made the original so good, including the weighted fin that ensures that it always lands the right way up and the hookbait will always fall away from the feeder, increasing your chances of a quick bite. It is a one-piece design, which makes it very strong and durable, and incorporates a bait disc at the front that helps to ensure that your bait stays in place until the feeder reaches the lake or river bed. The soft insert will fit any size 8 Korda swivel - including the Quick Change ones which are popular with this style of fishing – and creates a safe bolt rig, with a tail rubber neatly finishing off the back end of the feeder. As long as bait is moulded evenly around the feeder, it is incredibly stable in flight and will cast a long way. Like the original this is going to become a favourite with anyone who likes to fish the Method, which is still one of the most popular and effective set-ups, especially on bagging-up waters. It will also be popular with specimen anglers targeting species such as tench, barbel and bream. There is a choice of 35g or 50g versions.
Smart Fish Finder, What’s in there for you? It’s what we wonder every time we go angling. Deeper’s range of Smart Sonar’s are your way to explore what lies beneath and hook your trophy catch. They float on the surface, scanning and transmitting detailed bottom and water column data direct to your smartphone or tablet. Now shore fishers can access a range of data previously only available from expensive boat consoles.
Pellet Pliers, Often in fishing it is the devices that help you to more effectively carry out fairly simple tasks which will make the biggest difference to your catch rate, and that is definitely the case with the new Pellet Pliers, which have only just been released.Banded pellet is a great way of fishing hard pellets, but they can be very tricky to position the band around correctly, even at the best of times, let alone when you have cold or wet fingers. The Pellet Pliers are a simple device that make the task of banding a pellet very quick and easy, but there has still been a lot of thought which has gone into them to get the product just right and ensure that it works perfectly. They basically work on a reverse-pliers design, whereby squeezing the handles together opens the jaws. A pellet band is simply located in the groove on the nose of the pliers, which can then be stretched open with a simple squeeze of one hand, and your chosen size of pellet is positioned inside the band.To finish off the process, pressure on the pliers is slowly released and the banded pellet is removed from the jaws – the tapered design of which makes this task easy to perform. The spring-loaded design makes all of this very easy, without being so strong that there is any danger of damaging the pellet during the process, plus it is compatible with all different sizes of pellet.Pellet Pliers are finished in Guru orange colour, making them highly visible, so you’re unlikely to mislay them whilst you are fishing!
Throwing Stick, The Eazi-Stik has a long, straight shaft which allows the boilie to pick up more speed before it exits. The faster the boilie travels, the further it travels. Field-testing this length generated maximum speed without increasing the effort required to move the stick through the air. Made from ultra-light polycarbonate plastic makes the Eazi-Stik incredibly light, making baiting effortless. It greatly reduces fatigue on your arm, which is a major bonus because most sticks kill your arm. Take care though, accidentally hitting the ground on the follow through can damage this stick. Keep it out of direct sunlight in the heat of summer too, as prolonged exposure to temperatures of 25 degrees can warp the shape. The bend in the end of the Eazi-Stik is essential to its performance. This long, J-shaped bend increases back spin on the boilie and the backspin 'lifts' the boilie in flight. greatly increasing distance. The broken texture of the rubberised handle creates the right amount of friction with your hand to ensure a firm grip - This stops the stick twisting in your hand on the downward stroke, keeping the baits straight. Great effort was put into keeping the handle as slim as possible - this substantially reduces fatigue on your forearm, which is a problem found in most other sticks. The handle was made 8" long to allow one or two-handed grip.
