Our standard lead clip has been updated in recent years and still sets the benchmark for reliability. They are available in a range of colours, to suit almost any lake bed conditions. By moderating how hard the tail rubber is pushed over the serrated section of the clip, you can set the pressure at which the lead is dropped, allowing you to land more carp!
Catapult's & Spares, A range of three catapults and accessories that will cover you for all your fishing needs. The Original Pult was the first Guru catapult and is still regarded as the benchmark for coarse-fishing 'pults! It's the perfect all rounder because strong elastic runs through the remarkable hollow frame of the catapult, allowing the elastics to be tensioned across six different pegging positions along the frame. This allows you to vary the tension in the elastic to hit a variety of ranges with consistency throughout your session. The elastics themselves are extremely strong and durable. However, when you do need to change them, you'll be pleased to note that there are spare elastics available. The pouch has been carefully crafted to facilitate this unrivalled accuracy of feeding, grouping baits like maggots, casters, pellets and corn extremely tightly. The accuracy that these pults allow will make be the difference between second and first in your next match! The Light Pult has all the same technical features of the Original, but is much more delicate and has been designed primarily for pole fishing. As a result, it's perfect for grouping light baits tightly at up to 20m. The Incredible Pult is, as the name suggests, is perfect for baiting tightly at long range. As well as the catapults themselves, we also produce a full range of spares, including elastics and pouches.
Fusion 210, The Fusion 210 is perfect for storing a wide range of end tackle such as pole pots, feeders, leads, baiting needles and pellet wagglers, and is also the perfect size to house a one-pint Guru Bait Box. It’s the one you have on your sidetray to keep useful bits and pieces to hand, whilst still keeping them dry and dirt-free.
Aventus 12ft Distance Feeder, The 12ft Distance Feeder in the Aventus range is designed to combine many assets - distance, accuracy, durability and playing action. Made to Tackle Guru specifications by Daiwa in the renowned UK facilities using the highest quality Japanese carbon and most up-to-date rod technology. Two piece, folding down in half for use in a Fusion Rod Holdall, very handy for a 12ft rod. Supplied with three distance quiver tips with large guides to allow easy pass-through of shock leader knots - 1.5oz, 2oz and 3oz. The rod has a casting weight of 110g, and is capable of achieving distances of 80m plus with ease. In both our distance rods, 12ft and 13ft, we wanted to produce a tool that would help anglers cast further, accurately, with ease. However, the rods still needed to have a playing action to allow them to target all kinds of fish, from roach and skimmers in Ireland and on naturals, to big carp on vast UK commercials at distance on Method and Hybrid Feeders.Like the whole of the Aventus range, this rod has complete all-round capabilities. At home fishing for carp on large commercials in the summer months when big fish and big weights are on the cards at distance, while equally comfortable for catching skimmers and f1s in the winter or silvers on natural venues.A crisp, progressive action means the rod has lots of power when needed, especially in the bottom end for distance, while withholding a fish playing action that prevents hook pulls when fishing lighter lines and finer tackle. The rod features oversized top-spec Fuji Alconite K-Guides, bullet proof, super durable, and designed to prevent frap-ups and tangles. All guides are strategically positioned to give the rod the perfect compression, casting and playing action. The guides and size of guides are unique to the rod - each rod in the Aventus range has different sizes guides placed at different points to help the rod perform to 100 per cent of its capability. An A-Grade Cork handle is ultra comfortable and hardwearing, featuring the Armlock design to give you ultimate fish-playing control. Finished off with a Fuji DPS real seat. The butt of the rod is completed with a moulded bespoke Guru EVA hand grip, with finger moulds to help hand positioning on the cast, enabling maximum compression, distance and accuracy to be achieved with ease!A key feature is the length of the handles - longer than normal to again help casing distance and accuracy. More leverage and power can be gained from the longer handle, helping anglers be more accurate and cast further.A unique and key asset to the Aventus project is Zero 90 carbon technology. This process involves double layering carbon fibres in different ways from zero to 90 degrees. When cured, this gives rods combined longitudinal strength, recovery and crispness. The tubular shape of any fishing rod is deformed when compressed. Zero 90 technology enables us to control this deformation, preventing energy and accuracy loss, retaining the cylindrical structure to give more casting power and precision.
Bait Floss, Our first bait floss is the perfect addition to our chod kit. Its absolutely perfect for tying on pop-ups of all descriptions, especially cork ballers. The floss is flat in profile, which helps it to grip the surface of even the hardest, smoothest pop-ups. Once youve tied the bait on, using the knot shown below, simply run a cigarette lighter flame around the floss, which will render it transparent. Each spool holds fifty metres of floss, which will last ages!
