You asked us for these, so we added them to the range. These swivels have one very large round eye and one normal size one and, as with all our swivels, they come from the best Japanese manufacturers and have our trademark 'anti glint' dull-grey finish. They have three major uses. Firstly, they make very smooth running rigs when used as a replacement to the swivels found on the top of our leads. They were originally designed as part of the running rig kits. But, after too many enquiries to mention, we had to add them to the range. The second obvious use is for helicopter rigs. The large eye will rotate better if a large bead is used, whereas a smaller swivel would bump around the larger beads circumference. In other words, the large eye will slide effortlessly around it. They can also be used at the top of a link for the marker float - the large eye will allow the line to pull through that bit easier than a standard swivel. No doubt you will find other uses we haven't even thought of yet.
Skyliner Inline, The Skyliner is the same shape as the Swivel Distance lead so it possesses many of the same qualities. Like the swivel version, it is designed as the longest casting lead in the inline range. Check out the background information on the Swivel Distance lead to learn how the shape first got into the range. • Please Note: Due to varying stock throughout our stockists, lead colours may vary. If you have any specific requests please contact the retailer with the details provided after your purchase is complete.
Dark Matter Tungsten Tubing, Dark Matter anti-tangle tubing is quite simply the new benchmark for rig tubing. It's the heaviest on the market, and is ridiculously easy to thread. These attributes have seen it become the tubing of choice for fussy anglers like Darrell Peck and Tom Dove. Dark Matter tubing is super limp too, which helps it to follow the contours of the lake bed, keeping your setup well hidden. We make it in three colours, Weed Green, Silt and Gravel, which allows you to closely match the tubing to the lake bed that you're fishing over.
Bait-Up Method Feeder, The classic original Korda Method feeder has now been updated with some modern twists in the form of the Bait Up Feeder range. It retains many of the features that made the original so good, including the weighted fin that ensures that it always lands the right way up and the hookbait will always fall away from the feeder, increasing your chances of a quick bite. It is a one-piece design, which makes it very strong and durable, and incorporates a bait disc at the front that helps to ensure that your bait stays in place until the feeder reaches the lake or river bed. The soft insert will fit any size 8 Korda swivel - including the Quick Change ones which are popular with this style of fishing – and creates a safe bolt rig, with a tail rubber neatly finishing off the back end of the feeder. As long as bait is moulded evenly around the feeder, it is incredibly stable in flight and will cast a long way. Like the original this is going to become a favourite with anyone who likes to fish the Method, which is still one of the most popular and effective set-ups, especially on bagging-up waters. It will also be popular with specimen anglers targeting species such as tench, barbel and bream. There is a choice of 35g or 50g versions.
4" MWG Speed Stop, These ready-tied method rigs feature the reliable MWG hook and innovative Speed Stop hair attachment. When used with the Guru Speed Stop Needle, the Speed Stop system can be used to bait with even quite soft baits like luncheon meat, worms and sweetcorn. They can equally be used with hard baits like boilies.
