Not only does rig tubing stop the hook link from wrapping around the main line on the cast preventing a tangle, it also stops the fish coming in contact with the line during the fight. This is a vital safety aspect of the rig which we feel should not be ignored. Our tubing has a matt finish, which makes it harder to see underwater and most importantly, easy to thread. It comes in three colours, all of which sink without the need for putty. Having said that, we have seen from the underwater footage that the better the rig is pinned to the lake bed the less scared the carp will be. It is also better to get the colour of the tube exactly right for the spot you are fishing and then weight it with extra putty. Our underwater experience tells us our colours are right and extra putty can only enhance the whole set up but is not as essential as getting the colour right.
Charcoal Joggers, These new charcoal fitted joggers have combat style detailing and a brushed-fleece finish. They are made from a 60/40 blend of cotton and polyester, which won’t absorb moisture, keeping you cool in the summer. The zippable pockets have all been configured to offer the best storage options for carp angling!
PVA Leaders, These readymade leadcore leaders have been designed for speedy solid-bag fishing – allowing you to take advantage of what might be short feeding windows! Thanks to a spliced loop, they can be simply looped on and off your main line, which means that you can tie several bags in preparation for hauling and loop a new one on in an instant! The leaders are tied with 1ft lengths of our proven Kable leadcore and feature a size-eight ring swivel, which makes them ideal for use with inline leads. We recommend tying a figure-of-eight loop in the end of your main line to allow for rapid changing of bag setups. Three per pack.
Krimps, This clever system will allow us all to reach brand-new heights of neatness in rig creation. The Krimps and Krimp tool have been designed to allow easy rig construction with stiff materials (at the moment we only recommend Hybrid Stiff, Mouth Trap and Boom). In particular, we're really excited about the potential to create extremely neat loops for chod rigs and Boom sections. Not only this, but using Krimps will allow you to create chod rigs that are exactly the same length each and every time. There are two sizes of Krimp available, which have been designed to suit different materials. The smaller one will suit stiff bristle materials like Mouth Trap and stiff coated braids, like our Hybrid Stiff, and the larger one is perfect for really thick materials (like 30lb plus mono or the 35lb Boom). The product development team went to extreme lengths to make sure that the Krimps and Krimp tools were exactly right, having to overcome various problems along the way. The complexity of getting the tool and Krimps just right has meant that this has been a long development, but we're sure that it's been well worth the wait.
