Like all our products, the Shockleader Sleeve puts fish safety as top priority. We designed this sleeve to replace the hard plastic lead insert and make your inline rig as anti-tangle and fish friendly as possible when using shockleaders. If the line breaks, the lead pulls free and slides down the line, easily passing over the leader knot. Once the lead is off fish find it easier to get rid of the hook.
Krimps, This clever system will allow us all to reach brand-new heights of neatness in rig creation. The Krimps and Krimp tool have been designed to allow easy rig construction with stiff materials (at the moment we only recommend Hybrid Stiff, Mouth Trap and Boom). In particular, we're really excited about the potential to create extremely neat loops for chod rigs and Boom sections. Not only this, but using Krimps will allow you to create chod rigs that are exactly the same length each and every time. There are two sizes of Krimp available, which have been designed to suit different materials. The smaller one will suit stiff bristle materials like Mouth Trap and stiff coated braids, like our Hybrid Stiff, and the larger one is perfect for really thick materials (like 30lb plus mono or the 35lb Boom). The product development team went to extreme lengths to make sure that the Krimps and Krimp tools were exactly right, having to overcome various problems along the way. The complexity of getting the tool and Krimps just right has meant that this has been a long development, but we're sure that it's been well worth the wait.
Mixa Hook, The first dedicated floater fishing hook. These have been designed to hook even the shyest feeding carp on the surface. With a short shank, super-wide gape, beaked, offset point, they truly are made for the job. The final most noticeable point about these hooks is their sharpness: positively hypodermic is the best possible description. The guys at Korda have been using them for all manner of carp fishing situations as Ali Hamidi explained, They were initially designed for surface fishing, but great hook patterns like this, considering their sharpness and characteristics lend themselves to lots of fishing scenarios. They've been catching specimen Chub, Barbel and obviously loads of carp during testing. The Mixa hook is available in barbed and barbless versions, in size 6, 8, 10 & 12.
Floss Caps, Many of today’s most popular rigs involve tying baits on to rings or micro swivels with floss, and this can be far more fiddly than it needs to be. The Floss Cap takes all the hassle out of it, replacing your usual boilie stop – with available colours including clear, yellow and pink, so it can be matched to your bait – and once your hookbait is positioned just how you want it on the rig, you simply slide on a Floss Cap so that it sits flush, and then blob the ends of the floss with a lighter to hold everything in place. Tying baits on has never been so neat and hassle-free!
Krank X, The original Krank hook pattern, devised by Tom Dove, has been so successful, it seemed only right to add to the family. The latest addition comes in the formidable shape of the Krank X, which is exactly the same as the Krank, but is made from a thicker, stronger wire, which means that it's perfect for more extreme fishing conditions.
