Like all our products, the Shockleader Sleeve puts fish safety as top priority. We designed this sleeve to replace the hard plastic lead insert and make your inline rig as anti-tangle and fish friendly as possible when using shockleaders. If the line breaks, the lead pulls free and slides down the line, easily passing over the leader knot. Once the lead is off fish find it easier to get rid of the hook.
N-Trap Semi Stiff, The second addition to the N-Trap range is slightly stiffer than the N-Trap Soft that has been so popular since its release. The stiffer coating that Semi Stiff boasts is still easily strippable, making it easier than ever to produce top-notch bottom-bait and pop-up presentations. N-Trap Semi Stiff performed extremely well when used on the underwater filming at St Johns. It is available in Weed Green, Silt and Gravel and in 15lb, 20lb and 30lb versions, to cover all UK and Worldwide situations.
Square Lead, Rather than simply producing a standard bomb, which have remained largely unchanged since they were invented, Alex Bones decided to look at exactly what the modern angler needed from a lead. The Square leads are the result and they've been tailored to fishing on sloping lakebeds, such as those found around islands and margins. Because the fishing on many commercial waters now centres on these spots, it's vital that the lead can't roll down the slope when it's landed bang on the money. The flat sides of the square lead ensure that it won't. What's more, the dumpy, compact shape makes for the best bolt-rig effect possible, meaning that you'll hook more fish than with conventional leads. Because these leads are a little heavier than many used for match or pleasure fishing they are particularly effective at counteracting the drag effect of a PVA bag as it flies through the air. The Square leads are finished in with a coating that's been formulated to match the lakebed found in most commercial venues. There are three sizes of lead available, on third of an ounce, two thirds of an ounce and one ounce.
Square Pear Inline, Due to the four flat sides on the lead, it's virtually impossible for the carp to roll this lead on the bottom. This means the carp has to move the whole lead, so feeling the full weight instantly. The compact shape plus the flat sides and smooth tapering make the square pear inline the most effective bolt lead available today. If you are fishing ultra hard waters or need to improve the efficiency of your bolt rig the square pear inline is the only lead to use. The large flat surface area creates as much grip on the lakebed as possible. This enables you to fish on marginal shelves and slopes, on top of or on sides of bars without fear of the rig rolling down. The improved grip also allows you to get a super tight line, ideal at range or when fishing against snags. This makes this lead perfect when boating out baits on big foreign waters or when river fishing
