Additional weight to fit onto your Stow bobbins/Essential if you're fishing at range/6g and 8g Overweights available/Supplied in packs of two or three
This product is no longer in stock
Damian Clarke designed these super-slick additional weights for fishing at long range, or with tight lines. Because the length of the Stow bobbin has to stay the same to ensure that they drop away on the bite, Damian had to find a way to add weight without adding length. The Overweights are the result. They slide over the weight that is supplied with the Stow heads. An internal shoulder stops them from sliding up and down the head. Overweights are available in 6 gram and 8 gram versions and in packs of two or three.
Speedmesh PVA, This super-fast melting PVA system is ready to use straight from the packet. The PVA has been chosen because it melts faster than anything else on the market, delivering a cluster of bait tight around your hook bait almost as soon as it hits the deck. The PVA mesh stocking is supplied on a purpose-designed loader with a scoop at the end for easy bag construction. A plunger is included in the pack to allow you to compress each and every bag perfectly, ensuring that they explode as soon as they hit the lakebed. The system is supplied in a waterproof tube that'll keep your PVA in perfect order between sessions. We also make refills and needles for threading the bags onto your hook link.
Ready Tied BOOMS (QC), The Spinner rig is one of the most popular and effective carp-catching presentations around at the moment, but tying them from scratch can be time consuming, not to mention daunting if you have never attempted it before. Booms QC are tied on 7.5 inches or 5.5 inches of 25lb Boom fluorocarbons, with a loop at one end, and a QC swivel at the other, and they make it incredibly easy to set a Spinner rig up. Simply tease open the QC swivel with a Krimp tool, just enough to thread on your hook, and then pinch it shut. Slide on a Kicker to secure the hook in place, and then simply add a Micro Rig Swivel and Hook Bead to complete the rig. A piece of Dark Matter putty can be moulded around the loop knot if required to balance your hookbait.
Kaptor Choddy, Chod-rig fans rejoice, because you can now have the finest chod-rig hook ever made, in two subtle camou colours. So why camou a hook? Well, ever since Danny Fairbrass founded the Safezone principle, our subtle camou end tackle has been catching more carp for thousands of carpers. Its those little extra percentage points that add up to the capture of a lifetime and having camouflaged hooks definitely counts towards having that season-defining session or gets you one step closer to that landmark carp. As with the rest of the Kaptor range, the Choddys have been produced in Weed Green and Gravel Brown colours, to match most lake bed situations. The clever green Kap that protects the needle point on a Kaptor also prevents the point becoming coated in the PTFE camou coating during the manufacturing process, which means that theyre that little bit sharper than other similar coated hooks neat eh? The hooks themselves are just the same as our existing Choddys all those key features such as the outturned eye, extra-strong wire gauge, specially configured bend and claw-like beaked point, remain on the Kaptor version. Perhaps weve just created the ultimate in chod-rig hooks? We think so, and we think that you will too!
