What a neat, user-friendly idea this is. Instead of having to unscrew your bobbins at the end of your session, these magnetic gadgets allow you to simply pop the indicators off in an instant. Of course, they're made of stainless steel, so they'll last practically forever!
COG System, A lead system that betters the hooking qualities of an inline, yet casts like a lead clip, with all its safety benefits? It doesn't exist, right? Well, such a product has just arrived at Korda HQ. After what seems like ages in the development, the COG system is finally here, in physical form. COG stands for Centre of Gravity, which is a reference to the unique way that the hook link is attached to the heaviest part of the lead, giving instant, unparalleled hooking. Put simply, this system has been designed to convert more pick-ups into fish on the bank. When to use it then? Well, it's best used over firm lake beds like gravel, sand and firm silt, rather than weed, when you're better to reach for the Heli-Safe system. It can be cast every bit as far as a normal lead clip system, although when going for extreme range, it's worth dispensing with any PVA bags as the impact could force the half-swivel out of the lead. For margin work and placing from boats, the COG is simply unrivalled. Initially, there are just two lead shapes available, flat pear and distance, which should cover you for most fishing situations. The flat pear version is best used for closer range, lowering or dropping from a boat, whereas the distance version is the one to reach for if you're having to go long for your fish. One point well worth noting is that the COG boom sections are numbered (on the swivel) because it's essential that they are used with the correct lead. If you use the wrong boom with the wrong lead, the setup simply won't work as intended.
TK Hoodie, Our in-house designer has taken the classic hoodie and completely remodeled it to improve fit, functionality and styling. The resulting garment is what we call action fit'. The raglan shoulder and stretchy underarm panel allow free movement, while retaining the tailored fit. In short, the hoodies are comfy, and don't look like they've been modeled on a potato sack! The hoodie has been cut from 320gsm fleece jersey, which offers a rich, cosy feel against the skin too. Other features include a snug crossover fronted hood, neat drawcord loops (so they don't dangle on the fish when you're doing photos!), thumb inserts as well as secure gadget compartments in the kangaroo pocket (one for the phone and one for the receiver). It's also been made in the UK so we could ensure the quality is met with our Korda standard. The hoodie is available in olive brown or black and in sizes S-3XL.
Krusha, Long gone are the days of spending hours in the kitchen mashing up potent-smelling fishmeal boilies in a food blender. Why? Because the Krusha is here. There have been many devices over the years developed to crush up baits, such as the vegetable chopper, but most couldn't handle the rigours of day-to-day carp angling. The blades would often bend, break or blunt and at times it could take hours to grind up a kilo of boilies, let alone tiger nuts or pellets. The principle behind the Krusha was simple. We wanted to devise something that could crush up literally any bait out there within seconds, whether that be tiger nuts, pellets or air-dried boilies. So, the Krusha was born. Created as an ultra-strong and robust device the Krusha uses its sharp teeth to work together in motion to demolish anything that you put before it. Finished in a carpy, olive green colour and available in both large and small, the Krusha is perfect for the day-to-day carp angler. To use, simply fill the Krusha on the section that states FILL', place the other section over the top and begin to twist. The more vigorously you twist, the smaller the items will be. Grinding pellets to a mere dust creates a mighty fine bag mix and if you're a fan of solid bags, look no further. The boilie crumb will also be a fantastic addition to a stick mix or spod concoction. Experiment with literally anything and you could create the ultimate mix!
