The Wide Gape hook has become a true design classic, and has accounted for more big carp than any other pattern. It was based on the cult Maruta Kinryu pattern that found favour with the likes of Terry Hearn in the 1990s. The five-degree in-turned eye, short shank, heavily forged bend and beaked point combine to give anglers a hooked-to-landed ratio far in excess of anything else that's achievable. It can be used for pop-up and bottom-bait presentations and is the hook to opt for when fishing for the very biggest and trickiest carp around.
Katapult Spare Pouch, The Korda Katapult was a long time in development, but it was worth it! The result is the perfect range of catapults and accessories, which will cover you for baiting at short and long range, with particles or boilies. We've made a Heavy Katapult, which is teamed with a small pouch for firing boilies a long way, and the Light Katapult, which has a larger pouch and is perfect for mass baiting with particles. The special rotating collars, into which the elastics fit, help to reduce annoying twist, and increase the life of your elastics. Spare pouches and spare elastics are available.
Method Feeder, Traditionally, there was no particular science to hook bait placement within the method ball and your bait could even become trapped inside or under the feeder frame. Guru has, quite literally, turned this upside down. Commercial master Steve Ringer engineered a groundbreaking hook bait platform, which sits on the opposite side of the feeder to the main weight loading, ensuring that the hook bait sits on top of the feeder cast after cast. The platform itself is positioned on X-shaped, vented arms that are configured to minimize tangles and allow maximum grip, ensuring that your groundbait can be loaded easily onto the feeder. One cast with a Guru Method Feeder and you'll understand why it's shaped like it is. The team made long, stable casting a real priority and the weight-forward design really delivers this. These feeders cut across testing crosswinds, like a dart, allowing you to consistently hit the spot, effortlessly building your swim. The colour of the frame is anything but an afterthought. Steve drew upon what he knows of the underwater environment to choose a colour that melts inconspicuously into most lake bed types. The unique X-Safe elastic system acts as a buffer during the fight, helping to reduce hook pulls at the net. Not only that, but thanks to the innovative design, it's 100 per cent safe for the fish. Should you lose a fish and leave it attached to the feeder, the elastic will simply pull free, allowing the fish to ditch the feeder. The Method feeders are available in four sizes and all sizes of feeder are completely interchangeable and spare elastics and tubes are available separately.
Multi Rig, The Multi Rig is a superbly versatile rig, which allows the hook to be changed in a flash. They are most often used as pop-up rigs, but can be used with bottom baits too! Our versions, which have been pre-tied to save you time, are constructed from Kamo coated braid, which has an effective banded came pattern to help it blend in over all sorts of lake beds. Danny has been using this setup for a few years now, and the rigs that we've produced for you to use are exact replicas of his version of this presentation. We've tied these rigs up with the superb Krank Choddy pattern, which boasts a wide gape and sweeping shank for optimum hooking and landing. The rigs are available in sizes 4,6 and 8 and in barbed and barbless. - See more at: http://www.korda.co.uk/fishingtackle/line-and-hook-links/ready-tied-multi-rig/#sthash.CoRTABfF.dpuf
