The Method Hair Rig has been purpose designed for use with the method feeder. Through their vast combined commercial-water experience, the Guru team believed that the perfect length for a method rig was four inches. This allows the bait to be presented among the free bait that has dropped off the feeder. They coupled the N-Gauge hook link with the Guru MWG hook, which is an awesomely strong, versatile pattern. The lads decided on figure-of-eight loops for ultimate knot strength and a piece of silicone on the hair to keep the bait and hook in the optimum hooking position.
Zig Kit, The Zig Kit is the ultimate adjustable setup! The precision blow-moulded floats are the optimum size for allowing the float to easily rise to the surface, whilst being compact enough to allow long range fishing and the light grey colour ensures it's unobtrusive midwater, regardless of the light/water conditions. The float features a soft insert that houses the (supplied) size 11 QC Swivel, this reduces the profile of the float and helps to prevent tangles. A clear anti-tangle sleeve is also supplied. The crucial feature of the boom section is the ball bearing swivel, the swivel ensures the rapid rotation of the boom and prevents the float tangling, the buoyant ball ensures the link sits up over any debris allowing the float to rise freely. The kit contains everything needed to set up an adjustable zig set-up. just add: PVA Foam, a lead, hook-length/bait and you're away!
Charcoal Hoodie, Our in-house designer has taken the classic hoodie and completely remodeled it to improve fit, functionality and styling. The resulting garment is what we call action fit'. The raglan shoulder and stretchy underarm panel allow free movement, while retaining the tailored fit. In short, the hoodies are comfy, and don't look like they've been modeled on a potato sack! The hoodie has been cut from 320gsm fleece jersey, which offers a rich, cosy feel against the skin too. Other features include a snug crossover fronted hood, neat drawcord loops (so they don't dangle on the fish when you're doing photos!), thumb inserts as well as secure gadget compartments in the kangaroo pocket (one for the phone and one for the receiver).
Touchdown, Touchdown is a performance mono that has been designed to help you feel more as the lead impacts the bottom. This has been achieved by reducing the stretch, while maintaining the abrasion resistance and casting performance. It sinks well and has great knot strength. We've made it available in two versions, a low-viz green and a dark brown colour to suit all the lake bed conditions that you're likely to encounter. Touchdown is available in 10lb, 12lb, 15lb and 20lb, covering you for all carp angling disciplines.
Krimps, This clever system will allow us all to reach brand-new heights of neatness in rig creation. The Krimps and Krimp tool have been designed to allow easy rig construction with stiff materials (at the moment we only recommend Hybrid Stiff, Mouth Trap and Boom). In particular, we're really excited about the potential to create extremely neat loops for chod rigs and Boom sections. Not only this, but using Krimps will allow you to create chod rigs that are exactly the same length each and every time. There are two sizes of Krimp available, which have been designed to suit different materials. The smaller one will suit stiff bristle materials like Mouth Trap and stiff coated braids, like our Hybrid Stiff, and the larger one is perfect for really thick materials (like 30lb plus mono or the 35lb Boom). The product development team went to extreme lengths to make sure that the Krimps and Krimp tools were exactly right, having to overcome various problems along the way. The complexity of getting the tool and Krimps just right has meant that this has been a long development, but we're sure that it's been well worth the wait.
