The Micro Lead Clip is a mini version of the lead clips that specimen carp anglers have used for years. These clips have been sculpted so that the lines are smooth and resist tangles in flight. The Tail Rubbers fit perfectly flush with the body of the clip, further enhancing these anti-tangle properties. Perhaps most importantly, the Micro Lead Clips are completely fish safe, allowing the fish to ditch the lead should it become tethered. The colour has been chosen to best match the lakebed conditions found in lakes they practically disappear on the bottom, especially when feeding fish disturb the sediment around them. They are available in packs that contain ten clips, tail rubbers and swivels per pack representing great value for money!
Line Saver Bead, These clever tungsten-rubber beads take the naked-chod setup to the next level of sophistication. They take the place of the lower bead on the naked setup, against which the chod swivel sits on the cast or during a fight. The upper portion of the bead is tapered so that the swivel can slide along it, coming to rest against the body of the bead when a fish is hooked. this removes the chance of the main line being damaged during a tough battle. The Line Saver Beads are impregnated with tungsten, which will help the naked-chod setup to sit flush with the lake bed, improving a deadly rig even further. Supplied in packs of eight.
Krimps, This clever system will allow us all to reach brand-new heights of neatness in rig creation. The Krimps and Krimp tool have been designed to allow easy rig construction with stiff materials (at the moment we only recommend Hybrid Stiff, Mouth Trap and Boom). In particular, we're really excited about the potential to create extremely neat loops for chod rigs and Boom sections. Not only this, but using Krimps will allow you to create chod rigs that are exactly the same length each and every time. There are two sizes of Krimp available, which have been designed to suit different materials. The smaller one will suit stiff bristle materials like Mouth Trap and stiff coated braids, like our Hybrid Stiff, and the larger one is perfect for really thick materials (like 30lb plus mono or the 35lb Boom). The product development team went to extreme lengths to make sure that the Krimps and Krimp tools were exactly right, having to overcome various problems along the way. The complexity of getting the tool and Krimps just right has meant that this has been a long development, but we're sure that it's been well worth the wait.
COG Leads, There are two COG lead patterns currently available, the Flat Distance and Flat Pear. The Flat Pear is more conventional and its condensed shape makes for the best hooking potential it's unsurpassed for margin or boat work. The Flat Distance lead was designed by Danny Fairbrass for the COG system. It takes its shape from the popular Distance Casting lead, but has a slightly flattened profile, giving better hooking capabilities and ensuring that the COG system is properly presented.
Extenda Stops, On days when bites are hard to come by or when you are getting takes but losing fish, subtle changes such as making the hair longer or changing the bait size can make a huge difference to your results. By using the different length Extenda Stops, it is easy to lengthen the hair or alternatively change the size of the hook bait from anywhere between 16mm and 24mm, without having to tie a new rig. The shape of the Extenda Stop also makes it very difficult for crayfish to pull them off, making them a must when fishing on waters that suffer from crayfish problems.
