Our Fake Food range now includes pop-up dumbbell hook baits. As with the rest of the range, they differ from plastic hook baits made by other manufacturers as the attractor combinations have been moulded into the plastic during construction, rather than simply soaked in neat flavour, which washes away quickly. The flavour combinations are proven favourites of the team, with Danny Fairbrass contributing the Banoffee and Ali Hamidi the IB combination. You'll notice that there is no Citrus Zing in the dumbbell range. Instead, Danny has added a blend of fish flavours under the label of Fishy Fish. These dumbells have been coloured and flavoured to mimic washed-out pellets, making them the deadliest solid bag hook baits around!
Bait Drill, These precision-engineered drills are perfect for creating popular balanced presentations like the KD rig and Muzza rig. There are two drills in the range, 8mm and 6mm, which will cater for a range of hook baits, including standard baits, smaller boilies and tiger nuts. The tips of the drill bits have been specially engineered to allow baits to be drilled without cracking. Each drill comes supplied with six quality cork sticks that fit the drilled holes perfectly. We also supply replacement packs of cork sticks, each of which contain 10 cylinders.
Marker Braid, This braid casts superbly well, thanks to its low diameter, and transmits the feel of the lake bed accurately back to your rod, allowing you to find the very best feeding areas with your marker float setup. It is hard-wearing and has high knot strength, which is key when you consider just how much punishment that your marker setup is subject to over the course of a year. The Marker braid is finished in a SUB-Green colour, to make it as unobtrusive as possible. There are 300m on each spool, so you'll be able to spool up more than once, as long as you back your spool up. We recommend that you use a 30lb Arma-Kord shock leader to take the force of the cast. You can attach this using a back-to-back grinner knot.
