Large RigSafe, This is the ultimate rig storage system for anyone looking for more capacity than the existing Mini Rig-Safe offers, or needs somewhere to store pre-tied rigs of 12 inches or longer. It will hold up to 90 rigs, thanks to one side of it featuring double-ended storage, and the clever magnetic locking system means that it will never come open accidentally during transit, but is very easy to open when you want to, even with cold hands! The Large Rig-Safe features a specially machined, ridged aluminium bar to retain the hooks and keep them razor sharp until you’re ready to use them, and it has been shaped so that if you’re using a curved shrink tube kicker it retains its shape if you store them point upwards. It comes supplied with 30 standard pins to hold swivels or loops in place on the high density foam inner, and prevent tangles, or if you prefer to tie your rigs to the right length when you arrive at the water, then you can make use of the 20 double pins which will keep those in place, rather than in a knotted mess! It is made from high impact plastic, meaning that it is very strong, and is finished in soft-touch rubber, which not only feels nice in your hands but allows a good grip on it even when wet. The outside is marked up to 12 inches or 30 cm, so you can tie your rigs to exactly the length that you require.
Aventus 11ft Float Rod, A crisp through-action rod that can handle everything you can throw at it! Made to the specifications of the Tackle Guru team by Daiwa in the renowned UK facility! From fishing a light, traditional waggles for silvers, to casting a 15g Pellet Waggler on a vast venue for big carp! The Aventus Range is designed to do EVERYTHING!Two piece, folding in half to fit in a Fusion Rod Holdall ready-made perfectly, with a casting weight upto 15g and line rating upto 12lb!The 11ft waggler is incredibly light and balanced, with upmost power kicking in when needed for playing and landing big fish. A perfect length rod for most commercial fishing, and ideal for pellet waggler work. The lightness come from using High Volume Carbon Fibre, the very best Japanese materials, combined with the most modern rod-building processes. Each float rod features single leg top-spec Fuji guides, with extra durable Alconite rings. These are positioned on the rod strategically to allow easy flow of the line through the rings when casting, without worry of tangles or line sticking to the black in damp conditions. Another aspect adding to the lightness is the cutaway Fuji TVS real set. When fishing a float, you're often holding the rod for long periods, and having a real seat that is comfortable is vital. this features the blank of the rod running down through it, so you have ultimate feel and control of the rod.Like the feeder rods, the personalised touches are present; a moulded EVA bespoke Guru butt grip, and the A-grade Armlock shape cork handle for ultimate fish-playing control. The fast action of the float rods enable rapid line pick-up, helping to hit bites even when fishing a long way out.A unique and key asset to the Aventus project is Zero 90 carbon technology. This process involves double layering carbon fibres in different ways from zero to 90 degrees. When cured, this gives rods combined longitudinal strength, recovery and crispness. The tubular shape of any fishing rod is deformed when compressed. Zero 90 technology enables us to control this deformation, preventing energy and accuracy loss, retaining the cylindrical structure to give more casting power and precision.
Swivels, The humble swivel completes the whole rig set up and since it is almost the last connection between you and the carp it needs to be reliable. We always bought swivels from the same source, until our suppliers' supplier merged with a new company. The stocks were mixed and some were not as good quality so we immediately set about sourcing an alternative. They say that from every adversity comes an equal or greater benefit and in this case the swivels we located came from Japan - arguably the best swivel manufacturers in the world. They matched the size of the originals exactly, improved the breaking strain and reliability, and made them in a lovely dull grey tint. This was an improvement that entailed only a marginal increase in price - 10 per cent over 10 years! The swivels have round eyes because they are stronger than diamond eyes, if this were not the case then hooks would be made with diamond eyes! They fit just about everything that we make including - the Inline Leads, Lead Clips, Running Rigs, Shok Beads and Rubbers, what more can we say!
