If you use chod rigs, or hinged stiff rigs then you're going to want one of these neat cases. They're an impact-proof way to curve and store up to 28 perfect Mouth Trap hook sections, of a range of lengths. Two different diameter sections allow you to set, and keep both short and longer pre-tied chod rigs in the perfect fish-catching curve. What's more, there's also space for three pre-tied leadcore leaders (or similar) with Heli-Safe beads attached. Those clever design bods have engineered a pop-up handle to allow you to steam your chods into the perfect curve, without burning your fingers too! The ChodSafe is finished in a soft-touch rubber and features a neat magnetic closure system to prevent it opening in transit. Each ChodSafe comes with thirty pins to secure your rigs to the foam-lined cylindrical sections.
LWG Feeder, With the resurgence in popularity of angling on natural waters, Guru have been working to develop the perfect hook for more demanding situations where presentation is still key. The end result is the LWGF hook the Light Wide Gape Feeder. Developed for tackling big lakes, reservoirs, rivers and canals in the UK and Europe, it's the perfect pattern for bream, skimmers, hybrids, chub, perch, tench, smaller carp and similar species. It's also a versatile performer and can be used on a feeder or bomb rig, or on the pole. Available in sizes 10-20 in barbed format only.
Inline Method Feeder, Traditionally, there was no particular science to hook bait placement within the method ball and your bait could even become trapped inside or under the feeder frame. Guru has, quite literally, turned this upside down. Commercial master Steve Ringer engineered a groundbreaking hook bait platform, which sits on the opposite side of the feeder to the main weight loading, ensuring that the hook bait sits on top of the feeder cast after cast. The platform itself is positioned on X-shaped, vented arms that are configured to minimize tangles and allow maximum grip, ensuring that your groundbait can be loaded easily onto the feeder. One cast with a Guru Method Feeder and you'll understand why it's shaped like it is. The team made long, stable casting a real priority and the weight-forward design really delivers this. These feeders cut across testing crosswinds, like a dart, allowing you to consistently hit the spot, effortlessly building your swim. The colour of the frame is anything but an afterthought. Steve drew upon what he knows of the underwater environment to choose a colour that melts inconspicuously into most lake bed types. The unique X-Safe elastic system acts as a buffer during the fight, helping to reduce hook pulls at the net. Not only that, but thanks to the innovative design, it's 100 per cent safe for the fish. Should you lose a fish and leave it attached to the feeder, the elastic will simply pull free, allowing the fish to ditch the feeder. The Method feeders are available in four sizes and all sizes of feeder are completely interchangeable and spare elastics and tubes are available separately.
Bait Strainer, This is a bait preparation, storage and drainage aid that fit neatly inside Guru Bait Boxes. These are perfect for use with any bait that involves soaking or covering with water, as you can quickly and easily remove the bait from water by lifting the strainer out of the tub when required. The strainer is slightly raised so when placed on the ground water will drain from the bait. Perfect for soaking pellets, preparing expanders, or holding any baits that need to be stored in water and require drainage at the end of a session. These are also ideal for draining the worm juice from chopped worms when adding them to groundbait, so not to alter the consistency of the mix. Available in one pint and 3.3pt versions.
Marker Leads (Pronged), The sensitivity of the feedback from the pronged lead allows you to identify clear areas in sparse weed to the point where you can pinpoint exactly where the clear spots begin and end. The original probe lead remains an integral part of our range as it’s ideal for skipping the marker lead through the weed whereas the pronged lead would snarl up quite quickly. The pronged lead is for finding small differences to fine tune how you approach your spot. It’s not just about fishing weed effectively, the tremors produced by the pronged marker lead are far greater than a standard probe lead helped again by the fact that we purposely make them without a coating which cushions the lead and dampens feedback. Such sensitivity allows an angler to identify the finer differences and smaller details in gravel and silt too! You can now highlight the spots which transition from rough gravel to tiny pea shingle gravel or even from gravel to sand, you’ll instantly feel the difference down the rod. From thin weed, changes in gravel or finding small hard spots in silt which can be otherwise tough to find, this is the lead for you. The weights available are 2,3 & 4oz. The lightest one combined with a smaller marker float is perfect for fishing close in for example, in a small bay to avoid disturbing the swim too much. The 4oz lead is great for fishing big waters especially if you’re fishing into the wind or combating crosswinds and the 3oz is a great all rounder for the ‘normal’ fishing conditions an angler is faced with.
