Long gone are the days of spending hours in the kitchen mashing up potent-smelling fishmeal boilies in a food blender. Why? Because the Krusha is here. There have been many devices over the years developed to crush up baits, such as the vegetable chopper, but most couldn't handle the rigours of day-to-day carp angling. The blades would often bend, break or blunt and at times it could take hours to grind up a kilo of boilies, let alone tiger nuts or pellets. The principle behind the Krusha was simple. We wanted to devise something that could crush up literally any bait out there within seconds, whether that be tiger nuts, pellets or air-dried boilies. So, the Krusha was born. Created as an ultra-strong and robust device the Krusha uses its sharp teeth to work together in motion to demolish anything that you put before it. Finished in a carpy, olive green colour and available in both large and small, the Krusha is perfect for the day-to-day carp angler. To use, simply fill the Krusha on the section that states FILL', place the other section over the top and begin to twist. The more vigorously you twist, the smaller the items will be. Grinding pellets to a mere dust creates a mighty fine bag mix and if you're a fan of solid bags, look no further. The boilie crumb will also be a fantastic addition to a stick mix or spod concoction. Experiment with literally anything and you could create the ultimate mix!
Inline Plummets, Guru Inline Plummets feature a unique design for unrivalled accuracy when feature and depth finding.Available in three sizes – 10, 20 and 30g – the plummets are designed so the line goes straight through the middle of the plummet’s axis, allowing anglers to find the depth with millimetre accuracy.Traditional plummets are designed so the line goes round the outside of the plummet, but the line isn’t straight up to the float and isn’t a true reflection of the exact depth. This new design also protects the line from contacting damaging debris on the bottom. The three plummets feature the same hardwearing finish first seen on the Hybrid feeder range and a soft, cylindrical latex section to place the hook into. The absence of a cork or foam cylinder on the bottom of the plummet also gives more ‘feel’ when trying to find different bottom types; gravel, silt etc.The three weights cover a wide variety of angling situations, from delicate far-margin plumbing on commercials with the 10g model to deeper venues and running water with the larger 20 and 30g sizes.Guru brand manager Adam Rooney explained: “The Gurus have long thought the traditional design of plummet could be improved upon, and we’ve done just that with this design. Anglers can now plumb the depth and know that the measurement is extremely accurate with the line-through set-up and the orange latex section will last for a long time, unlike the cork inserts used in traditional plummets.”“Finding the depth accurately has become more and more important for effectively targeting species such as carp, F1s and silvers when setting rigs to dead depth or just off the deck, and our Guru anglers have been raving about the design since we started testing.”
Infuza, Most anglers appreciate that the inspiration to develop a new product comes from being faced with a recurring problem, and here at Korda Developments we've recently seen an increase in the need for a no-fuss hook bait storage facility, which is why we decided to develop this little gem, the Infuza. Boosted hook baits have been a popular technique in carp fishing for many years; the use of oils, flavour additives and bait soaks have seen a resurgence in the last couple of years and the use of such products in our own fishing really did highlight the need for a product that satisfied our requirements. We needed to design something robust and easy to use, which allowed excess liquid to drain from the surface of the hook baits, ensuring an even coating. The internal tray allows the baits to sit above the glug, but be coated with a simple shake of the pot. Lastly, we wanted to design a quality piece of tackle. We think that the Infuza does everything that an angler requires from this type of product. It is available in two sizes, large and small.
Ali Hamidi's Carp Fishing Masterclass, Ali's Carp Fishing Masterclass contains over 330 pages and 32 chapters of detailed carp-catching information. This is a must-read for any carp angler, irrespective of experience. With so many methods at an anglers disposal its very difficult for many carp anglers to understand what to use and when to use it. This book helps to demonstrate exactly how to get the best from a huge number of methods in any given situation. Ali himself has extensive experience combating big fish venues but is equally at home fishing heavily stocked and pressured day-ticket venues like most of us day-to-day carp anglers. It's this experience that makes the contents of this book so valuable to the reader and will help people of all abilities to convert time on the bank into fish in the net. This book is primarily focused on outlining the most important processes of carp fishing. It dispels myths about tackle and baits and helps to describe the best way to approach your angling. The detail of knowledge that Ali passes on has to be read to be believed. The focus of the book is to help all anglers understand many skill-sets.
Pellet Pliers, Often in fishing it is the devices that help you to more effectively carry out fairly simple tasks which will make the biggest difference to your catch rate, and that is definitely the case with the new Pellet Pliers, which have only just been released.Banded pellet is a great way of fishing hard pellets, but they can be very tricky to position the band around correctly, even at the best of times, let alone when you have cold or wet fingers. The Pellet Pliers are a simple device that make the task of banding a pellet very quick and easy, but there has still been a lot of thought which has gone into them to get the product just right and ensure that it works perfectly. They basically work on a reverse-pliers design, whereby squeezing the handles together opens the jaws. A pellet band is simply located in the groove on the nose of the pliers, which can then be stretched open with a simple squeeze of one hand, and your chosen size of pellet is positioned inside the band.To finish off the process, pressure on the pliers is slowly released and the banded pellet is removed from the jaws – the tapered design of which makes this task easy to perform. The spring-loaded design makes all of this very easy, without being so strong that there is any danger of damaging the pellet during the process, plus it is compatible with all different sizes of pellet.Pellet Pliers are finished in Guru orange colour, making them highly visible, so you’re unlikely to mislay them whilst you are fishing!
