Most anglers appreciate that the inspiration to develop a new product comes from being faced with a recurring problem, and here at Korda Developments we've recently seen an increase in the need for a no-fuss hook bait storage facility, which is why we decided to develop this little gem, the Infuza. Boosted hook baits have been a popular technique in carp fishing for many years; the use of oils, flavour additives and bait soaks have seen a resurgence in the last couple of years and the use of such products in our own fishing really did highlight the need for a product that satisfied our requirements. We needed to design something robust and easy to use, which allowed excess liquid to drain from the surface of the hook baits, ensuring an even coating. The internal tray allows the baits to sit above the glug, but be coated with a simple shake of the pot. Lastly, we wanted to design a quality piece of tackle. We think that the Infuza does everything that an angler requires from this type of product. It is available in two sizes, large and small.
Visor Beanie, This peaked, knitted hat is fabulously warm and offers styling that's quite different to most that you'll see on the banks. A heather-grey premium wool blend offers tremendous warmth and fit, and the streamlined peak keeps you sheltered from direct sunlight. The on-brand Guru tonal embroidery and stencil style signature make it a sophisticated piece of kit.
Kruiser Control Line, The first dedicated floater-fishing line. This material is perfect for use as surface fishing main line and hook link alike. It's wonderfully supple and limp giving you a natural presentation, while its clear colour helps to keep everything inconspicuous. Available in 150m spools, 6lb, 8lb, 10lb & 12lb
Guru Landing Nets, These four different landing net heads will cover any fishing situation that you’re likely to find yourself in, either on a commercial or when fishing matches on rivers and canals. The Speed 400, Speed 500, Competition 500 and Dual 550 models will handle everything from netting silver fish on light tackle through to bundling big carp into them, and there is an appropriate size and type of mesh for pretty much anything. The Competition 500 has the finest mesh at 2mm and is perfect for hair-rigged baits as they can’t get caught in the mesh, often destroying your rig in the process! The two Speed nets have a 6mm mesh to make them incredibly maneuverable through the water. The Dual 550 offers the best of both, with a 6mm mesh body for ease of netting, but with a 2mm mesh base for practicality and fish comfort. This is the largest model so suitable for specimen angling and larger carp. The alloy frames are incredibly strong, with a durable moulded spreader block and good quality screw thread complete with rubber washer so there is no twist when they’re attached to a net handle.
SkyRaider Spod, Never before has carp fishing seen such an aerodynamic, long-distance bait rocket. This will put yards on your spodding capability and in the hands of any good caster 150 yards is easily possible. It has a tapered design making it nose-heavy for a streamlined flight. This truly will become recognised as the ultimate long-distance spod. Its curved fins give it true stability in flight and help keep it in the air for as long as possible. Like the Skyliner, the Skyraider also has the large-profile holes making it just as quick to empty, and as easy to retrieve. As with all our spods, we recommend you mix in some groundbait or pellets into your mix. This will enable you to compact the mix into the spod to eliminate any spillage.
