The Korda Katapult was a long time in development, but it was worth it! The result is the perfect range of catapults and accessories, which will cover you for baiting at short and long range, with particles or boilies. We've made a Heavy Katapult, which is teamed with a small pouch for firing boilies a long way, and the Light Katapult, which has a larger pouch and is perfect for mass baiting with particles. The special rotating collars, into which the elastics fit, help to reduce annoying twist, and increase the life of your elastics. Spare pouches and spare elastics are available.
Kwik Link, These clever bits of metalware allow you to change hook links or leads in the blink of an eye. Danny says: I now use the Kwik Links for all of my fishing. I attach the link to the swivel that is held inside the inline or lead clip. I then tie an overhand loop in the end of the hook link making sure I tighten the knot fully, especially when I use the Hybrid Stiff material. It is actually best to tighten the knot over steam to ensure that it beds down fully. I slide a Tapered Silicone Sleeve onto the hook link before clipping it onto the Kwik Link. I then slide the silicone up over the Kwik Link to stop any chance of the hook link coming free during the cast. I can now change hook links within seconds and I don't have to pull the swivel in and out of the lead clip. This prevents any wear and tear and so extends the working life of each clip. The longer the swivel stays in the firmer the grip becomes. This ensures the lead will pull off the clip if it gets snagged during the fight.
Super LWG, The original LWG established itself as an astonishingly popular pattern. We have now introduced a premium version of this – the Super LWG! Featuring a round bend and wide gape with an inturned point, the Super LWG is PTFE coated to ensure the hook remains strong, durable and discrete in appearance. A single hook has proved to last throughout intense bagging sessions. The ‘Wasabi’ point stays razor sharp to give you maximum hooking capability at all times. Available in both eyed and spade patterns, the hooks are perfect for presenting all kinds of baits, from maggots, casters and worms, to meat, corn and pellets. The eyed versions are superb for hair rigging a band when using hard pellets, or for holding a Speed Stop to present hair-rigged baits.
Bait Box, The boxes are available in three sizes – 3.3 pints, 2.2 pints and one pint (which is an exact 1-pint measure, making it ideal for anglers who have to keep to strict bait limits). The two larger tubs have perforated lids and the smaller version is available with solid and perforated lids. The larger boxes will fit traditional bait waiters, and two of the smaller boxes will fit snugly inside the bigger boxes. “You can’t reinvent a bait box,” Adam Rooney explains, “However, we all use bait boxes and as the Guru band grows, a simple range of boxes meeting our team’s requirements makes a nice edition to the range. The boxes all have a nice strong overmoulded lid with a window to help the anglers locate what is in each box.
