The ultimate rod rest system! The system front and rear rests have been purpose designed to be both versatile and ultra-reliable. They have been designed to keep the rod on the rest during the most powerful of bites. The front rest features grippy rubber overmould and adjustable, double-ended arms to retain the rod. The rear rest also doubles as a front rest and both feature line-friendly, built-in line-guide systems.
Ring Swivels, PTFE coated ring swivels that have a host of rig-making applications! They are most often used to connect the hook link to the lead system. The size-eight ring swivel fits our lead clips perfectly, giving your rigs an extra degree of movement. The size-11 ring swivels are most often used on helicopter rigs.
Krimps, This clever system will allow us all to reach brand-new heights of neatness in rig creation. The Krimps and Krimp tool have been designed to allow easy rig construction with stiff materials (at the moment we only recommend Hybrid Stiff, Mouth Trap and Boom). In particular, we're really excited about the potential to create extremely neat loops for chod rigs and Boom sections. Not only this, but using Krimps will allow you to create chod rigs that are exactly the same length each and every time. There are two sizes of Krimp available, which have been designed to suit different materials. The smaller one will suit stiff bristle materials like Mouth Trap and stiff coated braids, like our Hybrid Stiff, and the larger one is perfect for really thick materials (like 30lb plus mono or the 35lb Boom). The product development team went to extreme lengths to make sure that the Krimps and Krimp tools were exactly right, having to overcome various problems along the way. The complexity of getting the tool and Krimps just right has meant that this has been a long development, but we're sure that it's been well worth the wait.
QC Ring Swivel - Round, These clever swivels have been designed to make chod-rig fishing even easier. They feature a rounded crook rather than a conventional eye, into which you can clip a looped chod. To create the loop, you can either tie an overhand loop or crimp a loop into the end. These loops can then be 'clicked' into the loop and won't come out unless you want to change a rig. The swivels are PTFE coated, which prevents light glinting off, potentially spooking feeding carp.
