A range of three catapults and accessories that will cover you for all your fishing needs. The Original Pult was the first Guru catapult and is still regarded as the benchmark for coarse-fishing 'pults! It's the perfect all rounder because strong elastic runs through the remarkable hollow frame of the catapult, allowing the elastics to be tensioned across six different pegging positions along the frame. This allows you to vary the tension in the elastic to hit a variety of ranges with consistency throughout your session. The elastics themselves are extremely strong and durable. However, when you do need to change them, you'll be pleased to note that there are spare elastics available. The pouch has been carefully crafted to facilitate this unrivalled accuracy of feeding, grouping baits like maggots, casters, pellets and corn extremely tightly. The accuracy that these pults allow will make be the difference between second and first in your next match! The Light Pult has all the same technical features of the Original, but is much more delicate and has been designed primarily for pole fishing. As a result, it's perfect for grouping light baits tightly at up to 20m. The Incredible Pult is, as the name suggests, is perfect for baiting tightly at long range. As well as the catapults themselves, we also produce a full range of spares, including elastics and pouches.
Leadcore Chod System, The Leadcore Chod Safety System is, without doubt, the biggest advance in rotary-rig safety EVER. The specially designed Chod Sleeves, Barrel Beads and No-Trace beads combine to offer a solution to the problems that consistent hook link ejection has dogged leadcore users for years. The single most important aspect of a helicopter setup is the facility that allows the hook link to travel up and off the leader should a carp pick up a cracked-off rig or become cut off during a fight. Previously, in order for the hook link to pass over the end of the leader, allowing the carp to ditch both lead and leadcore, a relatively small-bored helicopter bead had to pass over first. This was problematic if any weed or debris collected around the leader knot or spliced loop. The design of the Chod Sleeve and No-Trace Bead eliminates this problem. The hard plastic No-Trace Bead has a huge bore and, here's the clever bit, a slot in the side that allows it to drop off the leader entirely once it has popped off the coned Chod Sleeve. This allows the size-11 Ring Swivel to proceed up and over the leader knot with ease. Another industry first for Korda! We recommend that you use the system with strong, fast-sinking main line, such as SUBline or Kontour.
Kaptor Wide Gape, These hooks represent the biggest breakthrough in hook manufacture... ever. We took one of the truly iconic hook patterns and coated it with the industrys first coloured PTFE finish to make them blend in even better. The ultra-sharp Kaptor point has been left uncoated, because the development team had noticed that uncoated points were sharper. To preserve the eye-wateringly sharp point, each hook is capped with a rubber blob. This process ensures that the sharpest point in the carp world stays just that. Each hook is then clipped into a bespoke packet so that it stays pristine until you need it. The Kaptor Wide Gape range is available in Weed Green and Gravelly Brown camouflage. The colours have been carefully selected to closely match the most common lake bed conditions. The Korda team is in an excellent position to do this because of our extensive underwater experience. What this all means is that carp will find your rig much more difficult to spot on the lake bed, even up close. The Kaptor Wide Gape is a fantastically versatile hook that can be used on bottom bait presentations like Danny Fairbrass pop-up corn rig.
Fusion 400, The home for Small Rig Cases and end tackle items! The 400 can comfortably store up to six Small Rig Cases, three Small Rig Cases and one Rig box, or a multitude of small to medium size tackle items with its generous four-litre capacity. Perfect for commercial anglers using shorter hook lengths.
X-Safe Method Feeder, Traditionally, there was no particular science to hook bait placement within the method ball and your bait could even become trapped inside or under the feeder frame. Guru has, quite literally, turned this upside down. Commercial master Steve Ringer engineered a groundbreaking hook bait platform, which sits on the opposite side of the feeder to the main weight loading, ensuring that the hook bait sits on top of the feeder cast after cast. The platform itself is positioned on X-shaped, vented arms that are configured to minimize tangles and allow maximum grip, ensuring that your groundbait can be loaded easily onto the feeder. One cast with a Guru Method Feeder and you'll understand why it's shaped like it is. The team made long, stable casting a real priority and the weight-forward design really delivers this. These feeders cut across testing crosswinds, like a dart, allowing you to consistently hit the spot, effortlessly building your swim. The colour of the frame is anything but an afterthought. Steve drew upon what he knows of the underwater environment to choose a colour that melts inconspicuously into most lake bed types. The unique X-Safe elastic system acts as a buffer during the fight, helping to reduce hook pulls at the net. Not only that, but thanks to the innovative design, it's 100 per cent safe for the fish. Should you lose a fish and leave it attached to the feeder, the elastic will simply pull free, allowing the fish to ditch the feeder. The Method feeders are available in four sizes and all sizes of feeder are completely interchangeable and spare elastics and tubes are available separately.
