The shortest rod in the Aventus range, and an incredibly popular length for all kinds of fishing. Made to Tackle Guru specifications by Daiwa in the renowned UK facilities using the highest quality Japanese carbon and most up-to-date rod technology.
Two piece, folding down in half for use in a Fusion Rod Holdall. Supplied with three glass quiver tips - 1oz, 1.5oz and 2oz. The rod has a casting weight of 70g.
Like the whole of the Aventus range, this rod has complete all-round capabilities. At home fishing for carp on commercials in the summer months when big fish and big weights are on the cards, while equally comfortable for catching skimmers and f1s in the winter or silvers on natural venues.
A crisp, progressive action means the rod has lots of power when needed, while withholding a fish playing action that prevents hook pulls.
The rod features oversized top-spec Fuji Alconite K-Guides, bullet proof, super durable, and designed to prevent frap-ups and tangles. All guides are strategically positioned to give the rod the perfect compression, casting and playing action.
An A-Grade Cork handle is ultra comfortable and hardwearing, featuring the Armlock design to give you ultimate fish-playing control. Finished off with a Fuji DPS real seat.
The butt of the rod is completed with a moulded bespoke Guru EVA hand grip, with finger moulds to help hand positioning on the cast, enabling maximum compression, distance and accuracy to be achieved with ease!
A key feature is the length of the handles - longer than normal to again help casing distance and accuracy. More leverage and power can be gained from the longer handle, helping anglers be more accurate and cast further.
A unique and key asset to the Aventus project is Zero 90 carbon technology. This process involves double layering carbon fibres in different ways from zero to 90 degrees. When cured, this gives rods combined longitudinal strength, recovery and crispness. The tubular shape of any fishing rod is deformed when compressed. Zero 90 technology enables us to control this deformation, preventing energy and accuracy loss, retaining the cylindrical structure to give more casting power and precision.

They'll look at home stalking carp on the bank or in the pub with some mates. Other details include aeration holes in the under arm area to keep the wearer cool and dry and a vent cut on the bottom hem to aid ease of movement and ventilation. They are available from S - XXXL.
Interceptor Surface Float, the ultimate all-round surface controller float, with sizes covering everything from under your feet to long range fishing out in the middle of the lake. The colour of these inline floats has been carefully selected to make them as visible as possible from above the surface, so that the angler can see them as clearly as possible, but at the same time are almost invisible to carp below the surface. They are available in a variety of sizes, the smallest being just 5g which is perfect for flicking baits out close to the bank but where freelining won’t give you the casting accuracy or line control that you need. The 15g and 30g sizes are great all-rounders for any situation where you aren’t having to cast at longer range, and for any situation where the fish are further out, or in windy conditions where it can be difficult keeping the bow out of your line, there are 50g and 80g versions which can be cast to the horizon! One feature that is a bit different is the quick-change system that allows you to quickly switch from one size of float to another, simply by sliding it off of your main line and using the specially designed quick-change swivel. This is perfect if the fish suddenly move out of range, or drift close in and you don’t want to be crashing a heavy controller near them. These floats are incredibly buoyant and the inline stem helps to prevent tangles, with a soft insert used to house the quick-change system.
Dark Matter Tungsten Coated Hooklink, Thanks to state-of-the-art technologies we’ve been able to add tungsten granules into the coating of the Dark Matter Coated Braid. This ensures the hook link sinks quickly and remains pinned down on the lake bed. Dark Matter Coated Braid has a semi-stiffness and is perfect to create a variety of modern rigs. During the intensive testing period consultants have been using it in the most demanding situations and caught fish of near record sizes whilst having complete confidence in their hook link. Dark Matter Coated Braid will be available in 18lb and 25lb breaking strains in a Weedy Green or Gravel Brown version. The 10m spools have a new square design which helps store them neatly in tackle boxes.
