You might be thinking that there isn’t really much that you can do with a pole sock, but this one has a few unique features which really make it stand out and will help you to fish more efficiently.
To prevent your pole sliding forwards, most anglers attach either a pole sock or tulip flexing grip to their seatbox, but the Reaper combines the best of both.
The Reaper features two pole socks and the clever design means that there is a tulip grip in-between them, so effectively you have a retainer that will hold three separate sections of pole.
The frame is strong and durable, as are the ‘socks’ themselves, and there is plenty of protection around the edge of it to prevent any chance of damage to delicate pole sections, thanks to an EVA foam coating. The thick mesh used for the sock also provides plenty of protection for pole sections.
Plus the socks are large enough that even the largest pole sections are easily located within them, with the depth of the sock made to make it as easy as possible, without having to pay too much attention whilst unshipping as you play a fish. The pole sock will hold anything from a single number four section, right the way up to a full 16m pole minus the top three.
The Reaper pole section retainer is easily attached to seat box arms, and similar, via a universal metal screw thread.
Brown Team Korda Hoodie, Our in-house designer has taken the classic hoodie and completely remodeled it to improve fit, functionality and styling. The resulting garment is what we call ‘action fit’. The raglan shoulder and stretchy underarm panel allow free movement, while retaining the tailored fit. In short, the hoodies are comfy, and don’t look like they’ve been modeled on a potato sack! The hoodie has been cut from 320gsm fleece jersey, which offers a rich, cosy feel against the skin too.Other features include a snug crossover fronted hood, neat drawcord loops (so they don’t dangle on the fish when you’re doing photos!), thumb inserts as well as secure gadget compartments in the kangaroo pocket (one for the phone and one for the receiver). It’s also been made in the UK so we could ensure the quality is met with our Korda standard.
Infuza, Most anglers appreciate that the inspiration to develop a new product comes from being faced with a recurring problem, and here at Korda Developments we've recently seen an increase in the need for a no-fuss hook bait storage facility, which is why we decided to develop this little gem, the Infuza. Boosted hook baits have been a popular technique in carp fishing for many years; the use of oils, flavour additives and bait soaks have seen a resurgence in the last couple of years and the use of such products in our own fishing really did highlight the need for a product that satisfied our requirements. We needed to design something robust and easy to use, which allowed excess liquid to drain from the surface of the hook baits, ensuring an even coating. The internal tray allows the baits to sit above the glug, but be coated with a simple shake of the pot. Lastly, we wanted to design a quality piece of tackle. We think that the Infuza does everything that an angler requires from this type of product. It is available in two sizes, large and small.
Bait Strainer, This is a bait preparation, storage and drainage aid that fit neatly inside Guru Bait Boxes. These are perfect for use with any bait that involves soaking or covering with water, as you can quickly and easily remove the bait from water by lifting the strainer out of the tub when required. The strainer is slightly raised so when placed on the ground water will drain from the bait. Perfect for soaking pellets, preparing expanders, or holding any baits that need to be stored in water and require drainage at the end of a session. These are also ideal for draining the worm juice from chopped worms when adding them to groundbait, so not to alter the consistency of the mix. Available in one pint and 3.3pt versions.
