The Super Wrap has been designed by our product team to prevent crayfish and nuisance species damaging or stealing your hook baits. It's so simple and straightforward to use, simply slide your hook bait into the desired length of tube and shrink over a steaming kettle. Then repeat this process, placing the second length of tube at 90 degrees to the first. Using an Extenda Stop will ensure your hook bait cannot be removed from the hair. The Super Wrap comes in three different sizes to match your hook bait: 12mm, 22mm and 32mm.
SUBbraid, This is a super-fast-sinking main line braid that's available in a subtle SUB-green colouring and two breaking strains. It attracted plenty of acclaim during the exhaustive testing period, with Elliott Gray in particular becoming a huge advocate. Aside from its unrivalled sinking properties, SUBbraid has no stretch, which means that feeling for the drop becomes even more advantageous. The braid transmits tiny lake-bed details back to the rod on the drop, and when pulled back, allowing you to clip up to a spot without getting the marker rod out of the bag! If you find yourself on fish in an unfamiliar swim, then being able to feel for that critical drop with absolute assurance is such an edge! SUBbraid should be used with a leader of some description, to protect the flanks of our precious quarry. This can be the fluorocarbon that Elliott and James Turner prefer, which also gives a little buffer during the fight, or a length of leadcore or tubing sufficient to prevent the braid from coming into contact with the carp's flanks. SUBbraid is available in 15lb and 20lb, on spools holding 1200m and 450m.
Drag-Line, Drag-Line is a robust, performance mono that's been designed to withstand the rough and tumble of commercial-water carping. The repeated casting, playing and landing, especially with method feeders and pellet wagglers, that commercial-water success entails places great strain on a reel line, which is why we had to be completely happy with this one before Guru launched its first mono. The key criteria that the team identified meant that they'd only settle for a line that offered the optimum combination of abrasion resistance and diameter. The resulting line is super-supple as well as tough. This means that it positively purrs off the spool when repeatedly chucking method feeders.
