Boom is a game-changing fluorocarbon! It’s our first fluorocarbon that can be crimped, which opens up a world of uses for rig tying. Its prime function is for creating stiff boom sections to help kick the hook bait away from the lead system, something Boom does each and every cast. You can use it to make combi-rigs, or out-and-out stiff rigs, for pop-ups and bottom baits alike. Your imagination is the only limit to its rig applications. Being a fluorocarbon, Boom blends with all lake bed types and, thanks to its subtle, green tint, it’s always inconspicuous to carp feeding around it. Boom is available in 0.55mm and 0.65mm, on 15m spools.

The second addition to the N-Trap range is slightly stiffer than the N-Trap Soft that has been so popular since its release. The stiffer coating that Semi Stiff boasts is still easily strippable, making it easier than ever to produce top-notch bottom-bait and pop-up presentations. N-Trap Semi Stiff performed extremely well when used on the underwater filming at St Johns. It is available in Weed Green, Silt and Gravel and in 15lb, 20lb and 30lb versions, to cover all UK and Worldwide situations.

Kable is Korda's first leadcore. Rather than simply producing a 'me-too' product, the product development team decided to try a unique, banded camo pattern in two colours, Weed/Silt and Gravel Brown. The carefully selected, alternating bands of subtle colour have the effect of breaking up the outline of your leader, making it practically melt into the lake bed. Kable has a breaking strain of 50lb and is available on 7m and 25m spools. It splices extremely well, producing strong loops for easy connection to the rest of your terminal tackle and main line. If you're looking for the perfect leadcore then you've just found it...

This is a super-fast-sinking main line braid that's available in a subtle SUB-green colouring and two breaking strains. It attracted plenty of acclaim during the exhaustive testing period, with Elliott Gray in particular becoming a huge advocate. Aside from its unrivalled sinking properties, SUBbraid has no stretch, which means that feeling for the drop becomes even more advantageous. The braid transmits tiny lake-bed details back to the rod on the drop, and when pulled back, allowing you to clip up to a spot without getting the marker rod out of the bag! If you find yourself on fish in an unfamiliar swim, then being able to feel for that critical drop with absolute assurance is such an edge! SUBbraid should be used with a leader of some description, to protect the flanks of our precious quarry. This can be the fluorocarbon that Elliott and James Turner prefer, which also gives a little buffer during the fight, or a length of leadcore or tubing sufficient to prevent the braid from coming into contact with the carp's flanks. SUBbraid is available in 15lb and 20lb, on spools holding 1200m and 450m.

Mouthtrap has been designed to create the ultimate stiff rig. During testing there is one element that particularly stood out for the lads involved in the team it was easier to manipulate than any other stiff material on the market, without the hassle of steaming over a kettle, which takes up valuable fishing time and extra effort. Due to its unique make-up and high memory, the material retains a perfect curve when formed. Consequently, it creates the perfect hinged-stiff rig or chod rig that so many of us incorporate into our angling. In other words, we have developed the BEST stiff filament out there. Mouthtrap, which is available in 15lb, 20lb and 25lb, is finished with a natural carpy' tint that will blend in with any background, something that is the highest priority of Team Korda. So, if you're after a true stiff rig material that is better than anything else on the market, take a look, you won't be disappointed!

It took three years of rigorous testing to develop a fluorocarbon main line that ticked all the boxes - one that casts unbelievably well, is invisible in water, sinks like a brick and is highly abrasion resistant. In fact, it's pretty much all Danny Fairbrass uses. Kontour, as it is known, is very soft compared to many other fluorocarbons, allowing it to quite literally peel from the spool smoothly as your lead flies through the air. This aids casting distance and accuracy. It is also particularly heavy, ensuring that it sinks to the lake bed keeping flush and out of the carp's way. Launched in one breaking strain, namely 12lb, it will be suitable for all manner of situations and due to its genuine knot strength will be strong, reliable and user friendly.
