These little rubber hook beads fit tightly onto the shank of all of our hook patterns, and can be used to create a number of effective presentations. They’re perfect for use with rig rings, to create blow-back rigs such as the Withy Pool rig, or even variations of the all-conquering chod rig. They come supplied on easy-to use sprews, which each old 20 hook beads. The beads are weedy green colour, which helps them blend over most lake beds.

We've designed Kickers to help you make rigs that flip, turn and catch hold much more easily. To create a bottom-bait presentation that will guarantee optimum hooking, simply slide a rubber Kicker over the eye of your hook and you're good to go! Ali Hamidi and Tom Dove wanted to create something totally different with these Kickers, and decided to make them available in bright yellow, pink, red and white, as well as the normal green and brown. Their thinking was that adding more colour to the orbit of the hook bait would help grab the carp's attention even faster! If you're somewhat more old fashioned, like Danny, then you can still choose your Kickers to blend with the lake bed. Available in small, medium and large sizes to fit hooks from 10 to 4.

Our first bait floss is the perfect addition to our chod kit. Its absolutely perfect for tying on pop-ups of all descriptions, especially cork ballers. The floss is flat in profile, which helps it to grip the surface of even the hardest, smoothest pop-ups. Once youve tied the bait on, using the knot shown below, simply run a cigarette lighter flame around the floss, which will render it transparent. Each spool holds fifty metres of floss, which will last ages!

These clever swivels have been designed to make chod-rig fishing even easier. They feature a rounded crook rather than a conventional eye, into which you can clip a looped chod. To create the loop, you can either tie an overhand loop or crimp a loop into the end. These loops can then be 'clicked' into the loop and won't come out unless you want to change a rig. The swivels are PTFE coated, which prevents light glinting off, potentially spooking feeding carp.

A lead system that betters the hooking qualities of an inline, yet casts like a lead clip, with all its safety benefits? It doesn't exist, right? Well, such a product has just arrived at Korda HQ. After what seems like ages in the development, the COG system is finally here, in physical form. COG stands for Centre of Gravity, which is a reference to the unique way that the hook link is attached to the heaviest part of the lead, giving instant, unparalleled hooking. Put simply, this system has been designed to convert more pick-ups into fish on the bank. When to use it then? Well, it's best used over firm lake beds like gravel, sand and firm silt, rather than weed, when you're better to reach for the Heli-Safe system. It can be cast every bit as far as a normal lead clip system, although when going for extreme range, it's worth dispensing with any PVA bags as the impact could force the half-swivel out of the lead. For margin work and placing from boats, the COG is simply unrivalled. Initially, there are just two lead shapes available, flat pear and distance, which should cover you for most fishing situations. The flat pear version is best used for closer range, lowering or dropping from a boat, whereas the distance version is the one to reach for if you're having to go long for your fish. One point well worth noting is that the COG boom sections are numbered (on the swivel) because it's essential that they are used with the correct lead. If you use the wrong boom with the wrong lead, the setup simply won't work as intended.

We've been working on a solution to a problem that anglers been faced with for some time, how to safely and consistently discharge the lead when fishing with a helicopter setup. In order to be a true game-changing product, the Heli-Safe had to fulfill some important criteria... One such criterion was the ability to fish chod rigs at range. The heavy leads needed to fish at long range often become a problem once a fish is hooked. The combination of a very short hook link and large lead would often result in dropped fish. Likewise, venues that had been choked by weed often dictated that dropping the lead was paramount, something that just isn't consistently possible with conventional systems. The demand from anglers to produce a drop-off lead system for use in these situations pushed us to develop the product you see before you. The Heli-Safe System enables you to drop the lead when the situation calls for it. When used in conjunction with our unique Helicopter Safety System and unique No-Trace Beads, you can fish a rotary-rig setup in situations that would have previously led to the loss of hooked fish. The system works by employing a pressure-release function, not seen in the angling world until now. The latched lead clip will open once a hooked fish pulls against the angler, allowing the lead to drop free. By threading a Barrel Bead onto the leader above the Heli Safe, you will prevent the lead from discharging, should you pick up weed or other detritus on the retrieve. Once engaged in battle though, the bead will simply pull down and allow the lead to discharge. The unique design enables the angler to choose when to drop the lead, and when to retain it. In situations where it's not necessary to discharge the lead, a small plastic collar (which is supplied in the kit) can be fitted to fix the lead in place.

A pack that has all the components to help you construct safe lead clip systems. If you were attached to a really big carp, would you sacrifice the lead to guarantee you landed the carp? We would, and it's a small price to pay. The basic rule of the lead clip system is the lead must eject before the swivel pulls out. If the swivel comes out first the lead will never eject. Instead, the line will pull back and forth through the system like a running rig leaving the lead snagged and the fish too! In our opinion, the lead clip system is the best way to ensure a fish is not left with a lead because the line does not have to pull through anything for the lead to discharge. Use the system correctly and the lead will eject when you want it to. One thing that's for certain is that when the lead comes off the carp rises to the surface, allowing you to lead it over any underwater obstacles rather than having to drag it through them. This is the most versatile system when it comes to presenting a bait on any lake bed and as such should be chosen as your number one system. Simply follow the steps to make it safe and effective.

Korda Rig Rings are a crossbreed of the best parts of modern day metal technologies. The silky smooth PTFE coating enhances the effectiveness of rigs incorporating a ring, especially when coupled with Korda PTFE-coated hooks. Korda rig rings have been specially designed to help the angler create a variety of different rigs for the ever-changing demands required to catch carp today. Available in four sizes and finished in black to aid concealment, the presentation options are almost endless.

Tungsten Anti-Tangle Sleeves are finely tapering sleeves that help to push your rig away from the lead when it lands on the lake bed, ensuring your hooklink lies straight and flat on the bottom for perfect presentation. These sleeves have also been impregnated with high levels of tungsten to really nail your rig to the deck, negating the effect of any air bubbles that may have become trapped in the sleeve. They fit over standard size-8 swivels (simply nip the ring off a Hybrid Lead Clip and slide the sleeve over the swivel to use) and come in two sizes, for long and short rigs.

The release of Dark Matter Tungsten Putty brings rig putty into a new era. Gone are the days when you had to heat your putty on the kettle to make it workable - Dark Matter is super malleable, allowing easy moulding round swivels, Sinkers, tubing or main line. It's available in two camou colours, Weed Green and Gravel Brown, both of which are very subtle and will blend in over a range of lake bed conditions. Once you've used Dark Matter putty, you won't go back to using anything else.

Dark Matter anti-tangle tubing is quite simply the new benchmark for rig tubing. It's the heaviest on the market, and is ridiculously easy to thread. These attributes have seen it become the tubing of choice for fussy anglers like Darrell Peck and Tom Dove. Dark Matter tubing is super limp too, which helps it to follow the contours of the lake bed, keeping your setup well hidden. We make it in three colours, Weed Green, Silt and Gravel, which allows you to closely match the tubing to the lake bed that you're fishing over.

This hook was designed primarily for use with the popular chod and hinged stiff rig presentations, alongside a stiff filament like Mouth Trap. However, its appeal doesn't end there, it's a super all-round pop-up hook, which can be used with rigs like Darrell Peck's N-Trap pop-up rig, as well as Tom Dove's N-Trap bottom-bait rig. To allow the sweeping curve of the chod rig to continue unhindered up onto the hook, the Choddy has an out-turned eye. The rest of it's shape is based around the magical dimension of the iconic Wide Gape pattern, with all its attendant hold-and-hold capabilities. The Choddy is thicker in the wire than the standard Wide Gape, which makes it perfect for the biggest carp in the world. Darrell Peck has landed fish to over 70lb on the size-eights, which gives you an insight into the incredible properties that this hook possesses.

Not long after the Krank hook was conceived, Tom Dove hatched a plan to introduce a chod version, with an out-turned eye. His imagination was captured by the way that the continuously curving shank could mirror the curve of the chod rig, creating what many of us consider to be the ultimate chod hook. Just like the standard Krank hooks, the Krank Choddy has a beaked point and slight offset that combine to offer unrivalled hook hold security. They can of course be used with unstripped, coated braid or mono hook links to produce effective bottom-bait rigs too! The Krank Choddy is available in sizes 4, 6, 8 and 10, and in a barbless version too.

The Kurv Shank is a fantastically versatile hook. It's agressive hooking properties make it ideal for pop-up presentations and bottom-bait rigs too. It features in some of the most devastating rigs that we know, including Danny's trademark IQ D-Rig and Ali Hamidi & Gaz Fareham's pop-up combi rig. It owes its fantastic hooking properties to the sweeping curve of the shank, in-turned eye and long, straight, needle-sharp point. Those features make this pattern a great hooker when used without shrink tube. A simple knotless-knot rig will suffice when using the Kurv Shanks.

The Wide Gape hook has become a true design classic, and has accounted for more big carp than any other pattern. It was based on the cult Maruta Kinryu pattern that found favour with the likes of Terry Hearn in the 1990s. The five-degree in-turned eye, short shank, heavily forged bend and beaked point combine to give anglers a hooked-to-landed ratio far in excess of anything else that's achievable. It can be used for pop-up and bottom-bait presentations and is the hook to opt for when fishing for the very biggest and trickiest carp around.

There are two COG lead patterns currently available, the Flat Distance and Flat Pear. The Flat Pear is more conventional and its condensed shape makes for the best hooking potential it's unsurpassed for margin or boat work. The Flat Distance lead was designed by Danny Fairbrass for the COG system. It takes its shape from the popular Distance Casting lead, but has a slightly flattened profile, giving better hooking capabilities and ensuring that the COG system is properly presented.

As the name suggests, this lead is designed purely for casting long distances. The nose-heavy design makes it very stable indeed and also keeps the lead condensed, giving good hooking efficiency. The lead is the brainchild of Alan Partridge an 'old school' angler well known in the higher echelons of carp fishing for his innovative thinking and his long-range casting. This is without doubt Danny's favourite style of lead, he says of it, "I love fishing at range in open water and building up a baited area, fishing all three rods only feet apart. The nose-heavy shape of this lead means that it flies straight as an arrow; it just goes where you want it to go. For this type of fishing I couldn't think of using anything else!"

Let's be clear, from the very start - our current camouflaged coating is, we believe, the best on the market by some distance. However, let it not be said that we don't listen to you guys, because our new textured coating has been developed due to massive demand for our famous leads with a textured coating. It's not been easy though, in fact, the development has taken a little while to perfect. Our lead production manager, Sean Woody' Stockdale, had this to say about the leads, This isn't a new concept, far from it in fact. However, we couldn't ignore the demand. We carefully considered the combinations of coating granules to produce the subtlest, matt-finish camouflage. It wouldn't be right to herald the release of the new range without getting a word from the gaffer. Dan told us, Ever since I started, I've paid great attention to camouflage aspect of my rig. This has permeated every aspect of Korda's product range. This addition to our lead range satisfies the almost constant demand for textured leads in colours that actually match what you're fishing over. I stress this point because 90 per cent of the existing textured leads do not match what they will be lying on, which actually makes them stand out more. The range has been kept concise to keep the majority of anglers happy and we will consider expanding it as demand dictates. Personally, I would use either the smooth or textured leads because our underwater filming proves that both have superb camouflage properties. So, what are the advantages of a textured lead? Well, the coating is matt, so it simply won't reflect light in the same way as a conventionally coated lead. The textured finish will pick up sediment from the lake bed, adding to the overall subtle effect. In fact, these leads get better and better with use! The characteristics that allow the leads to take on sediment will also allow the leads to absorb flavours, glugs or dips. Leaving a few leads to soak in Goo is sure to add an extra dimension of attraction.

Baiting tools are an important part of any carp angler's kit, some people are happy to use one needle for everything. However, seeing as we are self-confessed perfectionists, we like to use exactly the right tools for the job. For that reason we have designed these little babies. We have produced the needles in mega-bright colours to minimise the chance of misplacing them. How many times have you dropped your baiting needle onto the grass and lost it? A lot I would guess. However, this is now completely eliminated with the super-bright handles on the Korda range of needles.

On days when bites are hard to come by or when you are getting takes but losing fish, subtle changes such as making the hair longer or changing the bait size can make a huge difference to your results. By using the different length Extenda Stops, it is easy to lengthen the hair or alternatively change the size of the hook bait from anywhere between 16mm and 24mm, without having to tie a new rig. The shape of the Extenda Stop also makes it very difficult for crayfish to pull them off, making them a must when fishing on waters that suffer from crayfish problems.

This pattern is the brainchild of Tom Dove, who was looking to design a pattern of hook that had the aggressive sweeping shank of the Kurv Shank, with an enormous gape for maximum purchase and hooking potential. Throw in an offset point too and you have the Krank, a hook that's such a good hooker it's best used with a simple knotless knot setup! Tom had simple setups like his own 'muzza' in mind when he began the development process, but the end product is a much more versatile beast that ensures that not only will you hook more fish, but you'll land more too!
