Arma-Kord is an incredibly abrasion resistant braided line, which is also supple and relatively thin for its breaking strain. It has been designed as a high-performance snag or shock leader for extreme snag fishing or long-range work. In tests this braid proved at least 50% more abrasion resistant than the nearest competitor. Its thinner diameter and low-viz brown colour also make it far less detectable underwater.

It took three years of rigorous testing to develop a fluorocarbon main line that ticked all the boxes - one that casts unbelievably well, is invisible in water, sinks like a brick and is highly abrasion resistant. In fact, it's pretty much all Danny Fairbrass uses. Kontour, as it is known, is very soft compared to many other fluorocarbons, allowing it to quite literally peel from the spool smoothly as your lead flies through the air. This aids casting distance and accuracy. It is also particularly heavy, ensuring that it sinks to the lake bed keeping flush and out of the carp's way. Launched in one breaking strain, namely 12lb, it will be suitable for all manner of situations and due to its genuine knot strength will be strong, reliable and user friendly.

Hybrid Stiff is THE coated hook link for use over clean lake beds. Its super-stiff, camouflaged coating helps kick your hook bait away from the lead every cast, to ensure perfect presentation. As such, its perfect for use with light baits such as pop-ups or wafters. The two versions, weedy green and gravel brown, have been chosen to blend with most lake bed conditions. We recommend that the Hybrid Stiff is used in conjunction with two key Korda tools, the Strippa Tool and the Krimping Tool. The Strippa Tool allows easy stripping of the tough, stiff coating and the Krimping Tool can be used to attach a Link Loop, which can be quickly attached and detached from a Kwik Link when changing rigs.

Have you ever used a hook link that knew not to tangle? One of which the fish could hardly see, and one that made it more difficult than any other to eject? Open this packet and maybe for the very first time you will be. IQ is a fluorocarbon which refracts light in almost the same way as water, making it almost invisible when immersed. It is stiffer than normal nylon so improving anti-tangle and anti-eject properties. Team Korda have extensively field tested all breaking strains and were so impressed they were compelled to add it to the already impressive range. 10lb is ideal for finely tuned open water situations. 15lb is a superb all rounder and 25lb forms an impressive stiff link.

IQ2 Fluorocarbon is a softer version of our legendary IQ. This softness makes it a versatile hook link material, which gives free movement to even quite light hook baits, like a single grain of pop-up corn, or real maize. Just like the original IQ, IQ2 is nigh-on invisible in water. The way that light passes through the material is quite close to the way that it moves through water, rendering your hook links very difficult for carp to detect.

This braid casts superbly well, thanks to its low diameter, and transmits the feel of the lake bed accurately back to your rod, allowing you to find the very best feeding areas with your marker float setup. It is hard-wearing and has high knot strength, which is key when you consider just how much punishment that your marker setup is subject to over the course of a year. The Marker braid is finished in a SUB-Green colour, to make it as unobtrusive as possible. There are 300m on each spool, so you'll be able to spool up more than once, as long as you back your spool up. We recommend that you use a 30lb Arma-Kord shock leader to take the force of the cast. You can attach this using a back-to-back grinner knot.

Mouthtrap has been designed to create the ultimate stiff rig. During testing there is one element that particularly stood out for the lads involved in the team it was easier to manipulate than any other stiff material on the market, without the hassle of steaming over a kettle, which takes up valuable fishing time and extra effort. Due to its unique make-up and high memory, the material retains a perfect curve when formed. Consequently, it creates the perfect hinged-stiff rig or chod rig that so many of us incorporate into our angling. In other words, we have developed the BEST stiff filament out there. Mouthtrap, which is available in 15lb, 20lb and 25lb, is finished with a natural carpy' tint that will blend in with any background, something that is the highest priority of Team Korda. So, if you're after a true stiff rig material that is better than anything else on the market, take a look, you won't be disappointed!

Although the original Hybrid hook links had many followers, the Korda product development team thought that it could be bettered. The resulting product, N-Trap Soft, is the culmination of two and a half years of development and testing. So, why is N-Trap the best coated material on the market? Well, it features a tough, matt coating that is easy to strip yet won't split when tightened down and the rugged Dyneema braid inner is a much better colour match for the coating than other hook links. Following the proven Safezone camou principle, we've released the N-Trap in three colours, Weedy Green, Silt and Gravel Brown. Of course, the colours have been chosen with our longstanding underwater experience to closely match the conditions that you'll find on your waters. N-Trap is hugely versatile, lending itself perfectly to a whole host of presentations. Try it with the KD or Muzza rig, the Multi Rig, or Danny Fairbrass' favourite blow-back rig with a Mixa hook. N-Trap has already found its way into many tackle boxes both here and in Europe, so join the coated-braid revolution and get on it! N-Trap Soft is available in 15lb, 20lb and 30lb versions.

The second addition to the N-Trap range is slightly stiffer than the N-Trap Soft that has been so popular since its release. The stiffer coating that Semi Stiff boasts is still easily strippable, making it easier than ever to produce top-notch bottom-bait and pop-up presentations. N-Trap Semi Stiff performed extremely well when used on the underwater filming at St Johns. It is available in Weed Green, Silt and Gravel and in 15lb, 20lb and 30lb versions, to cover all UK and Worldwide situations.

This is a finely woven braid that's mega supple and ultra strong. Due to its suppleness, Supernatural will gently rest over the contours of the lake bed laying flat and out of the carp's way. This suppleness also makes it just about as good a solid-bag hook link as you can get. It's championed by the likes of Ian Poole, which shows you just how good it is. If the carp in your water have been hammered on the popular coated braids, give this a try because it presents something that is completely different to them. Supernatural is available in Weedy Green and Gravel Brown, which makes it blend in with many different lake bed types.

This braid casts superbly well, thanks to its low diameter, allowing you to bait spots right at the limit of your casting ability. You'll notice that it has a rather unusual fluoro green colour, which helps to deter seagulls when baiting up with a throwing stick or floater fishing. Gulls just won't swoop down when the hi-viz line is snaking out across your swim. It is hard-wearing and has high knot strength, which is key when you consider just how much punishment that your spod setup is subject to over the course of a year. There are 300m on each spool, so you'll be able to spool up more than once, as long as you back your spool up. We recommend that you use a 30lb Arma-Kord shock leader to take the force of the cast - you can attach this using a back-to-back grinner knot.

Tapered SUBline has all of SUBline's fast-sinking, abrasion resistant-properties, but the line tapers into an integral shock leader at each end. No knots are necessary. If you snap off and lose one, all you have to do is wind the line onto a new spool to reveal the other! Because there are no leader knots involved, the risk of frapping up' on big casts is massively reduced and there is nothing for weed to collect on or for a lead system to jam against. This line was designed for extreme-range casting, but the extra diameter also acts as a robust snag leader. Each tapering leader is 15 metres long, but can be cut down by a maximum of five metres for super-long range, when every last yard counts. Tapered SUBline is available in the following versions: 0.28mm - 0.50mm (8lb tapering to 40lb) 0.30mm - 0.50mm (10lb tapering to 40lb) 0.33mm - 0.50mm (12lb tapering to 40lb)

This is a super-fast-sinking main line braid that's available in a subtle SUB-green colouring and two breaking strains. It attracted plenty of acclaim during the exhaustive testing period, with Elliott Gray in particular becoming a huge advocate. Aside from its unrivalled sinking properties, SUBbraid has no stretch, which means that feeling for the drop becomes even more advantageous. The braid transmits tiny lake-bed details back to the rod on the drop, and when pulled back, allowing you to clip up to a spot without getting the marker rod out of the bag! If you find yourself on fish in an unfamiliar swim, then being able to feel for that critical drop with absolute assurance is such an edge! SUBbraid should be used with a leader of some description, to protect the flanks of our precious quarry. This can be the fluorocarbon that Elliott and James Turner prefer, which also gives a little buffer during the fight, or a length of leadcore or tubing sufficient to prevent the braid from coming into contact with the carp's flanks. SUBbraid is available in 15lb and 20lb, on spools holding 1200m and 450m.

As you'd expect, it also sinks like a brick, making it the go-to line for many of the carp scene's biggest names.

If you’re looking for a tough, reliable line that won’t cost you the earth, then Carp Line is definitely the one for you! During testing Carp Line has already become a firm favourite with those who got their hands on the samples, including Elliott Gray and it is now his line of choice when fishing with mono. It is amongst the toughest lines on the market, without being problematic to use, and in any situation where weed or snags come into play it should definitely be your first choice to spool up with. It will handle weed, gravel bars and mussels better than most lines, but if there are signs of abrasion then it is also cheap to re-spool, as it comes on 1000m spools priced at just £12.99 – the price and spool size is the same for each of the five breaking strains available, 8lb, 10lb, 12lb, 15lb and 20lb. The line sinks well, even more so once it has been used a few times, and is a nice subtle SUB-green colour which blends in well with most lake beds and is hard to see even in clear water. For such a tough line it behaves well on the spool and casts well, plus gives a very high knot strength. The low stretch factor makes it ideal for feeling the lead down to the bottom and making sure you get that ‘donk’ and are confident in where your rig has landed. Damian Clarke, who was involved in designing the line, enthused: “With lots of our products, especially fishing lines, we work with some of the best manufacturers in the world. “These guys are pushingthe boundaries in manufacturing to create thinner, lighter and more technically advanced monofilaments, but with Carp Line we took a step back. “Some anglers just wanted something simple and reliable, a does what it says on the tin product, so Carp Line was born!”

Boom is a game-changing fluorocarbon! It’s our first fluorocarbon that can be crimped, which opens up a world of uses for rig tying. Its prime function is for creating stiff boom sections to help kick the hook bait away from the lead system, something Boom does each and every cast. You can use it to make combi-rigs, or out-and-out stiff rigs, for pop-ups and bottom baits alike. Your imagination is the only limit to its rig applications. Being a fluorocarbon, Boom blends with all lake bed types and, thanks to its subtle, green tint, it’s always inconspicuous to carp feeding around it. Boom is available in 0.55mm and 0.65mm, on 15m spools.
