The Method Hair Rig has been purpose designed for use with the method feeder. Through their vast combined commercial-water experience, the Guru team believed that the perfect length for a method rig was four inches. This allows the bait to be presented among the free bait that has dropped off the feeder. They coupled the N-Gauge hook link with the Guru MWG hook, which is an awesomely strong, versatile pattern. The lads decided on figure-of-eight loops for ultimate knot strength and a piece of silicone on the hair to keep the bait and hook in the optimum hooking position.

The new Guru bait drill has been designed to make drilling hard baits, like pellets and tough boilies, child's play. Rather than twisting the handle of the drill, the team designed a drill that allows the bait itself to be twisted onto the bit, keeping it under total control. The flattened handle allows great grip to be achieved, even with wet, oily fingers. The super-fine 1mm needle will easily penetrate the hardest of pellets, without splitting them a worthy addition to the Guru stable.

A range of three catapults and accessories that will cover you for all your fishing needs. The Original Pult was the first Guru catapult and is still regarded as the benchmark for coarse-fishing 'pults! It's the perfect all rounder because strong elastic runs through the remarkable hollow frame of the catapult, allowing the elastics to be tensioned across six different pegging positions along the frame. This allows you to vary the tension in the elastic to hit a variety of ranges with consistency throughout your session. The elastics themselves are extremely strong and durable. However, when you do need to change them, you'll be pleased to note that there are spare elastics available. The pouch has been carefully crafted to facilitate this unrivalled accuracy of feeding, grouping baits like maggots, casters, pellets and corn extremely tightly. The accuracy that these pults allow will make be the difference between second and first in your next match! The Light Pult has all the same technical features of the Original, but is much more delicate and has been designed primarily for pole fishing. As a result, it's perfect for grouping light baits tightly at up to 20m. The Incredible Pult is, as the name suggests, is perfect for baiting tightly at long range. As well as the catapults themselves, we also produce a full range of spares, including elastics and pouches.

The updated Commercial Cage Feeder is the latest addition to the growing range. They're super-versatile and will appeal to both commercial match anglers and specimen hunters, targeting the rivers in search of chub, barbel and bream. The development team carried forward what they'd learnt from our much loved cage feeders and applied it to these ultra-tough improved versions, of which there are four sizes. The most important aspect is the weight-forward design, which makes for accurate, long casting, followed closely by the enlarged holes in the frame that allow for super-quick bait discharge. These feeders are the perfect baiting tools when targeting shallow island margins for F1s on commercials and the design allows for explosive bait release, which in turn allows you to get even quicker bites. The cage feeders share the same advanced-camou colouration as the Pellet and Method feeders, a subtle blend that allows the feeders to melt into the lake or riverbed and not arouse the suspicions of the feeding fish. These feeders will take pellets, groundbait, chopped worms, casters and even cubes of luncheon meat making them true all-rounders.

Both patterns feature a specially designed head is rounded to minimise damage and allows you to pop the hook out easily and safely. Drag-Line is a robust, performance mono that's been designed to withstand the rough and tumble of commercial-water carping. The repeated casting, playing and landing, especially with method feeders and pellet wagglers, that commercial-water success entails places great strain on a reel line, which is why we had to be completely happy with this one before Guru launched its first mono. The key criteria that the team identified meant that they'd only settle for a line that offered the optimum combination of abrasion resistance and diameter. The resulting line is super-supple as well as tough. This means that it positively purrs off the spool when repeatedly chucking method feeders.

The new F1 Maggot hook is now in tackle shops and is the perfect shape for fishing smaller baits. It has been designed with maggots in mind, as well as being great for other similar baits such as casters and pinkies, as it has a fine wire that won’t damage these baits.  It has a super fine, straight point and the shape, with a special gape and angled point, which means that these baits sit perfectly on the bend and it reduces the chance of hooking being impeded. Because of the slightly ‘open’ angle of the point, you’ll hit more bites on these hooks!  The F1 Maggot is PTFE coated which results in a smoother surface, aiding penetration and preventing rusting during rig storage between sessions, as well as reducing ‘glare’ as the finish is duller.  They feature a neat spade end and are barbless, with a range of sizes from 14 to 22 to cover everything from fishing on commercials for silver fish or F1s, right down to snatching bits on canals in the winter, and are suitable for use with the pole, waggler or feeder.

They feature a beaked point for extra-secure hook holds and an oversized spade, which allows them to be used with thicker line, for robust bagging situations. They have been finished with a special anti-glare PTFE finish that does not impede the sharpness of the hook. The F1 Pellet family includes sizes 14, 16, 18, 20 and 22.

We can say without the slightest hint of hype that the new Specialist Gripper Feeders are the best river feeders available. Literally hundreds of hours of research, design and testing has gone into these beautiful feeders, and the list of attributes bears this out. Let's have a closer look at the features. Perhaps the cleverest is the anti-roll design, which means that the feeder stays the right way up in the very fastest of flows, ensuring perfect presentation. This design, coupled with the surprisingly low-profile of the feeders, increased surface area of the lead and protruding feet means that it'll grip extra well. You'll notice that the feeders are supplied with two rigid stems, one that allows them to be used as an inline system, and the other that allows it to be used as a conventional swivel-type feeder, either running, or semi-fixed on a lead clip. The robust plastic frame is overmoulded onto the lead, which makes it much more hardwearing than conventional feeders. The frame itself is tinted with a subtle camo colour, which blends perfectly with a whole host of lakebed conditions. The rigid stems and weight-forward shape make for a feeder that flies true and long, making casting to tight spots much easier. The Specialist Gripper Feeder is available in two sizes, large and medium, and in 1oz, 2oz, 3oz and 4oz versions.

There are times when you don’t want as much bait as a Method feeder typically delivers, but do still need something near your hookbait, and this is where the new Guru Impact Bomb comes into its own.   The Impact Bomb is basically a flat pear shaped lead with a hole in the middle of it and a cage which bait can be pushed into, so that it will will stay in situ during the cast, with the majority of it ending up close to your hookbait – determined by how long your hook length is.   These bombs have a wide variety of different uses, both on lakes and rivers, and the ‘cage’ can be filled with Method mix or dampened pellets to deliver a scent trail close to your rig. This is especially useful when you are considering fishing a straight lead but still want some bait in the area, so will also be a good choice in the colder months.   They come in four different sizes – 2/3oz, 1.1oz, 1.5oz and 2oz – which covers everything from flicking a lead down the margins to fishing at longer range, or holding bottom on slower flowing rivers. Their shape and weight-forward design also means that they cast incredibly well, and accurately, and are less susceptible to catching a crosswind than a conventional Method feeder can be.   The Impact Bomb is finished in Guru’s ‘commercial camo’ coating and comes with a swivel attachment, making it suitable for use with a variety of different set ups, including on a lead clip, running on the main line, or on a paternoster.

Traditionally, there was no particular science to hook bait placement within the method ball and your bait could even become trapped inside or under the feeder frame. Guru has, quite literally, turned this upside down. Commercial master Steve Ringer engineered a groundbreaking hook bait platform, which sits on the opposite side of the feeder to the main weight loading, ensuring that the hook bait sits on top of the feeder cast after cast. The platform itself is positioned on X-shaped, vented arms that are configured to minimize tangles and allow maximum grip, ensuring that your groundbait can be loaded easily onto the feeder. One cast with a Guru Method Feeder and you'll understand why it's shaped like it is. The team made long, stable casting a real priority and the weight-forward design really delivers this. These feeders cut across testing crosswinds, like a dart, allowing you to consistently hit the spot, effortlessly building your swim. The colour of the frame is anything but an afterthought. Steve drew upon what he knows of the underwater environment to choose a colour that melts inconspicuously into most lake bed types. The unique X-Safe elastic system acts as a buffer during the fight, helping to reduce hook pulls at the net. Not only that, but thanks to the innovative design, it's 100 per cent safe for the fish. Should you lose a fish and leave it attached to the feeder, the elastic will simply pull free, allowing the fish to ditch the feeder. The Method feeders are available in four sizes and all sizes of feeder are completely interchangeable and spare elastics and tubes are available separately.

Guru Inline Plummets feature a unique design for unrivalled accuracy when feature and depth finding.Available in three sizes – 10, 20 and 30g – the plummets are designed so the line goes straight through the middle of the plummet’s axis, allowing anglers to find the depth with millimetre accuracy.Traditional plummets are designed so the line goes round the outside of the plummet, but the line isn’t straight up to the float and isn’t a true reflection of the exact depth. This new design also protects the line from contacting damaging debris on the bottom. The three plummets feature the same hardwearing finish first seen on the Hybrid feeder range and a soft, cylindrical latex section to place the hook into. The absence of a cork or foam cylinder on the bottom of the plummet also gives more ‘feel’ when trying to find different bottom types; gravel, silt etc.The three weights cover a wide variety of angling situations, from delicate far-margin plumbing on commercials with the 10g model to deeper venues and running water with the larger 20 and 30g sizes.Guru brand manager Adam Rooney explained: “The Gurus have long thought the traditional design of plummet could be improved upon, and we’ve done just that with this design. Anglers can now plumb the depth and know that the measurement is extremely accurate with the line-through set-up and the orange latex section will last for a long time, unlike the cork inserts used in traditional plummets.”“Finding the depth accurately has become more and more important for effectively targeting species such as carp, F1s and silvers when setting rigs to dead depth or just off the deck, and our Guru anglers have been raving about the design since we started testing.”

The Method Feeder Clip simply clips onto the hookbait plate of any of the Method feeders in the Guru range, with different sizes designed to match the feeders – the large will fit the 28g and 45g feeders. As well as keeping your hookbait right in amongst your loosefeed, it also allows you to effectively fish very short hook links without the associated problems that usually accompany those – difficulty in tying them and increased potential for hook-pulls due to the close proximity of the feeder to the hook during the fight – as once a fish is hooked your hooklink will pull free from the Method Feeder Clip, and you will be back to playing it on your normal length of hooklink. It will also come in very useful on venues that ban bolt rigs as you can fish it with a running feeder, but still get the self-hooking effect that a bolt rig would give, as the clip grips the line until a fish is hooked. If you are using it with a pop-up then there is no need for any counter-balance weight, simply place the hooklink in the clip to set the required distance that you want your hookbait to sit above the loosefeed. Or you can use it to make sure that a bottom bait stays right in amongst the groundbait even once fish have disturbed it.This is going to be a big hit with match and pleasure anglers, but is also likely to find favour with specimen anglers who want to use the Method and fish very short hook links. This is one of those incredibly simple products which can make a big difference to your catch rate!

Based on the same cutting-edge technology that has made the range of Hybrid feeders a huge hit this summer, the new 24g model boasts a super compact design with the weight built into the body of the feeder, allowing excellent casting and hooking properties. Our current range of pellet feeders have served us well, explains Adam Rooney. But there has always been a gap in the range for a mini version however, we found it hard to create a smaller version with sufficient weight. With the birth of the recent Hybrid feeder, which is made using a new type of material where the weight is in the body of the feeder, rather than being a separate weight, it made it possible to produce a feeder with the correct weight to make it efficient and useable in most fishing situations. Using the new material benefits the new Mini Pellet Feeder in many ways. The durable camo paint finish blends into any lake bed and the flared design allows for easy loading and quick release of bait and scent into the water. Slots in the top of the feeder and holes in the base, as seen on the Hybrid range, allow the water to reach the pellets to start breaking down quickly after casting. The unbreakable design has been perfected over many months of testing by Adam Rooney, Pemb Wrighting, Steve Ringer and the Guru team and the feeders are X-Safe compatible, meaning they can be used with Guru's safe elasticated stem system. To compliment the new pellet feeder and recently-launched Hybrid range, the X-Safe Speed Stem range has also seen some new additions in the form of short and long stems with options for heavy and light elastics, allowing greater flexibility. The stems will fit all of Guru's X-Safe compatible feeders. Look out for more on the new pellet feeder on the Guru social media channels and this website over the coming weeks both the Mini Pellet Feeder and range of X-Safe Stems be in tackle shops from late September with an RRP of 2.49.

This is an awesome, strong all-round pattern that's suitable for most styles of angling, right from waggler fishing, through to heavy pole work and specialist feeder fishing. It's a more conventional pattern than the QM1 and features a super-wide gape that helps you to connect with as many bites as possible. The beaked shape will help convert solid hook holds into fish in the net. A large eye allows you to thread heavier hook link lines through three times when tying the knotless knot for the most cutting-edge hair-rig presentations. As with the QM1, the MWG is available in sizes 10,12, 14, 16, 18 and 20 and are supplied in packs of 10. We now make a barbed version, the MWGB, which is exactly the same but with a barb. It makes a great carp, river and specialist hook!

This is a high-tech Japanese mono that's as good as they come. One thing that the development team was adamant about was that the diameter should be absolutely consistent because it was felt that a number of competitor lines were not and the potential to mislead the angler was present. Steve Ringer wanted to make sure that N-Gauge was rated properly for the consumer, yet while still offering unparalleled breaking strain. Lengthy research and field-testing led to the finished N-Gauge. N-Gauge is available in 3lb (0.11mm), 4lb (0.13mm), 5lb (0.15mm), 6lb (0.17mm), 7lb (0.19mm), 9lb (0.22mm), 12lb (0.25mm) breaking strains, which will cover all commercial-water fishing as well as most specialist-angling situations. N-Gauge is super clear, which makes it suitable for even the most gin-clear of waters holding the wariest quarry. It is available on 100m spools, which represents great value for money.

Push one of these cones into a bait box full of softened pellets and you can make a nice cluster of bait that can be threaded onto the hook link and cast out. Once on the lakebed, the pellets drop away from the hook link, depositing a mouthful of bait right where you want it, around the hook bait.

Often in fishing it is the devices that help you to more effectively carry out fairly simple tasks which will make the biggest difference to your catch rate, and that is definitely the case with the new Pellet Pliers, which have only just been released.Banded pellet is a great way of fishing hard pellets, but they can be very tricky to position the band around correctly, even at the best of times, let alone when you have cold or wet fingers. The Pellet Pliers are a simple device that make the task of banding a pellet very quick and easy, but there has still been a lot of thought which has gone into them to get the product just right and ensure that it works perfectly. They basically work on a reverse-pliers design, whereby squeezing the handles together opens the jaws. A pellet band is simply located in the groove on the nose of the pliers, which can then be stretched open with a simple squeeze of one hand, and your chosen size of pellet is positioned inside the band.To finish off the process, pressure on the pliers is slowly released and the banded pellet is removed from the jaws – the tapered design of which makes this task easy to perform. The spring-loaded design makes all of this very easy, without being so strong that there is any danger of damaging the pellet during the process, plus it is compatible with all different sizes of pellet.Pellet Pliers are finished in Guru orange colour, making them highly visible, so you’re unlikely to mislay them whilst you are fishing!

The Pellet Wagger hook has been designed with float hair rigging in mind. As the name suggests, it's particularly suited to use with the pellet waggler, which is so effective on commercial carp waters. The hooks feature an out-turned eye, which ensures that the line exits the eye in a straight line, making for better presentation and greater hooking potential. An extra-long, durable point and wide gape practically guarantees extremely secure hook holds, which will result in more fish in the net. There are six sizes in the range, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18 and 20, which will cover you for most commercial carp fishing as well as waggler fishing on a range of venues.

We’ve designed a range of pole pots, from scratch, to address the shortcomings of the ones we had to use previously! Our range includes small, medium and large pots. The small ones have special sprinkle lids for quick-and-easy loading. One of the small pots has specially configured holes in it, to allow easy baiting with pellets and other soft baits, and one without holes for use with maggots. The medium and large pots come with two lid choices in a pack, one with a narrow lip for use with maggots and meat, and one with a wider lip, which is perfect for drip-feeding pellets. The pots are made from super-light, two-tone plastic, which makes for easy shipping and won’t spook fish! Finally, the clever, X-Soft fitting will accept a range of top kits, of different diameters, without damaging the pole.
